Do guys like it when girls wear button down shirts?

I enjoy wearing buttoned shirts; they make me feel preppy and professional, which is a cool feeling. I just wonder what guys typically think about girls who wear shirts, since it's traditionally a menswear. Love it? Hate it? Cute? Sexy? Manly? Ugly? Don't care? Share your opinion!

I'm not a guy, but I do have a lot of button down tops. I think it depends how you wear it. If you're going for the professional look (like a full suit--pants or skirt), play it up with a nice necklace and earrings. If you're going with the casual look, then wearing it with jeans and a nice cami underneath is cute.

The key is not to button it all the way to the top to where you look like a guy. If you button it just enough to show some skin, but not have your boobs popping out, that'd be visually appealing to guys while still keeping it classy.

It looks masculine to me. If you softened it up and wore a dress with it, it would lessen the blow. Honestly, when you see a woman in a man's shirt and she's wearing pants on top of it, it just looks like she's a ball buster, even if she isn't. Those shirts just aren't feminine. Now, if you wear your boyfriend's button down in bed, that's hot. I suggest sun dresses, clue blouses, turtlenecks or any other number of articles of clothing that flatter the female form. Stay away from suit pants and button downs. That makes us look good, not you.

I think it's a cute look, it heightens your femininity to most guys. Since your clothes don't project the fact that you're female, , we can see the stark difference between you wearing it and a guy, and that can be..well, riveting!

I absolutely love girls in button up shirts! But the shirt has to be feminine (buttons on the left), and as @cutiepie42112 said, not buttoned all the way up (but the top buttons must be on the shirt, I hate those shirts that don't have the top buttons).

Shirts with buttons are pretty traditional for both genders.

If its cut well, it can look really good.
