How come every time a guy finds out I am a gymnast they get perverted?

I know that guys are fascinated by splits but, really? It just seems uncalled for to me. Why do guys do this?

Being flexible has it's benefits in the bedroom. Outside of that, men have very little interest in women's gymnastic. Go ahead and talk to him about women's clothing (another thing we have no interest in), and watch it digress into him wanting you to put on a bikini or lingerie show for him. =P There are better subjects that both guys and girls can have a mutual interest. Try exploring them, or else our mind is going to drift when you hit us with girlie crap that is boring.

It's just a weird thing guys have about the flexibility of females and the idea that they can do all weird sorts of positions, it's a visual stimulus.

Women don't think about gymnastics in a sexual, perverted way. It's what they do, so their mind doesn't automatically think about it. Men know that a gymnast is very flexible and the more flexible she is the more positions she can do in bed. He's basically saying, whether we're dating or not, it would be a lot of fun to have "fun" with you

I could keep it under control, probably up until you did one of the moves and then directly asked me for my opinion. :P

It depends on whether we think you don't mind or not. Some guys are ignorant and assume that since you do the sport, you're used to guys coming onto you and because you still talk to guys, you don't mind it as much as other girls normally would.

It's a fantasy that is better kept as one. Flexibility is nice but she isn't going to be bouncing on your pogo in full out splits. It's a real let down. We dream up stupid things that are just not very practical.
