I cannot carry a conversation. Does this mean I'm stupid?

When you try to talk to someone who can't carry a conversation, do you think they're stupid, or do you just think they're socially awkward?

no I'm the same way no one awkward I mean if I can't hold a convo with the other person it get borning and I leave them alone .. or we just sit on the phone and listen to each other breath now that boreing too..

everone is awkward in their own wayss that what makes it funn finding someone who you get along the most because if we were all the same .. if we were all the same life would be boreing . and you can't say I'm not right hahaha . just do what you feel is right and let it go from their .

Anyone can carry a conversation when it's about something they find interesting, and with someone they feel comfortable around. On the other hand, no one finds it easy or enjoys trying to make small talk with someone they don't know and don't share a lot of common interests with - especially if they're nervous as well. Intelligence doesn't really come into it.

There's really no problem if you can't carry a conversation. Most people can't carry conversations at all. You just need to constantly practice your conversational skills and in no time, you'll be leading every conversation all the way.

It means you're not comfortable with the subject you are talking about. What are your hobbies, interests? Those are what you should talk about.

Then you're obviously dramatizing this question for the sake of dramatizing. "I have no hobbies."...It took having one to find this site to begin with. You're not socially awkward, you're trying to be.

well almost all girls are expect the guy to approach, make the first move and all the other moves, and that means starting the conversation, keeping the conversation alive
