Why do girls get mad when a guy doesn't give them attention?

Does that mean she wants his attention? This girl ALWAYS gets mad at me when I don't talk to her too much, or my answers are short or I don't say HI in a manner she wants me to. Right now she is mad at me and won't talk to me (well, she will answer, but its all passive agressive or in a "im not mad at you but won't talk to you" way). When we are in a talkative mood, she tells me I annoy her a lot and just keeps teasing me and calling me names and if for some reason I take it seriously (lets say I have a bad day and my endurance for sarcasm and playful jabs is really low) she gets mad/upset and me. She KNOWS I like talking to her, a lot, but even so she gets mad when I have a bad day. Its not like I act like a jerk, call her names or yell at her, I just get really quiet with everybody, but she takes it personally, which she shouldnt.

Why does she get like this? Its always with me, we either have a great time together or we are arguing or mad at each other, why is this?

She kind of sounds like a pain in the ass, unless you're into girls that have you walking on egg shells.

She's probably craves attention but could be kind of spoiled and doesn't deal with not getting it from you well. I'd say there's a good chance she's interested, but her reaction is obnoxious ... maybe this is her way of being "girly" because she thinks guys like that.

And a girl never KNOWS anything unless you say it ... she can assume, deduce, guess, wish ... etc, but extra reinforcement of the truth is all we really ever want because guys can be really bad at sending out signals that match how they feel about a girl, which leads to us being confused about how you do feel.

Maybe you SHOULD act like more of a jerk, or more aloof so that she can get a clue and realize that being a passive aggressive beeyatch is not the way to make you want to be around her. She needs to respect YOUR wants too, no? Can you imagine being in a relationship with this kind of girl? She'd probably drive you nuts with time.

Sorry but damn what you said hurt me lol... I mean don't all girls act out in certain ways when it comes to the object of our affection. What if she don't know how to Handel her emotions, or what if for some reason they couldn't be together and he doesn't know she likes/love him..im not saying she's right, but damn judging on they relationship "girls always act a certain way with a guy they are craving

But that's my point, she doesn't know how to handle her emotions, don't look at me, I'm not too great at it either, but instead of bursting out, I burst in, which is a lot less crazy looking than being mad at a guy for no reason. And its a commitment, one that isn't necessarily a fun one, to be with a person that hasn't figured out how to deal with their emotions, they need to work on that first. Note I didn't say "always" because I know its not the case always, but in her case, it just might be

And I know its not a fun commitment because I was with a guy who didn't have a clue and he was at least 50% to blame for ruining us because he didn't have a handle on his emotions. I've forgiven him now and realized I might have expected too much, but that doesn't change the fact that it sucked.

First of all half the girls on here are idiots. In order for a relationship to be successful there must be empathy. Men and woman were created differently men are simple amd women are more emotional. More men than women need to understand that in many cases there is an emotion behind something your gilfriend is trying to tel you. For example if you want to take her out and she says "I have nothing to wear" in your mind you go wtf are you talking you have a closet full of clothes and just went shopping last week. But she is trying to tell you I don't feel confident or sexy today to out so saying I have nothing to wear is her excuse to not go rather than tell you directly. If a man says I have nothing to wear that probably means I have nothing else clean to wear. Get it men are more direct when women tie what they say with an emotion. She's not trying to nag you she just wants some empathy.

One day and the next your busy, or your not in a mood...and no I wouldn't know unless you tell me...however if that's the case, honestly I would feel a way too..and yes I would treat you how your treating me...idk about the whole annoying thing I don't think I would say that if it's not true, so maybe how she acting isn't the issue maybe it's her using those words your annoying her..idk what's that about...but you guys seem kool enough where you can bring it up...you never know it might change the dynamic of the relationship...which could possibly force her to be more upfront about her feeling towards you...if not... Then yeah leave her alone.

Why is she like this? It's because she likes you duh! I don't wanna take her side but you sound kind of moody,your a cool dude one day and very sociable but when your upset or angry you want to be non sociable? Sounds childish you shouldn't reflect what your feeling to outside world unless it's something serious like a death in the family or something and I'm sure you can't be upset every time she initiates a convo or something... Just don't be a flip flopper you can't alternate between I feel good today and I wanna be left alone today that doesn't work for people... This girl wants attention while you rather be moody lol... Think about how many dudes would love to be in your position and have a girl wanna talk to them lol and your like why can't she respect my moody behavior ha ha :)

She like you. And she catches a temper tantrum when you keep to yourself, and sense you don't explain your having a bad day she probably thinks your annoyed with her or your don't want to be bothered with her. I guess she's trying to return the favor, by ignoring you all the same.

Next when your having one of you great talks you like so much with her ...clearly,.. try lettings her know a little more about you, that way she wouldn't take this so seriously next time

She would know this is how you get when your moody, or having a bad day. All women act out in there own way when they don't get attention from the guy they like..judging on the relationship,

honestly, I don't think you should waste your time on her. She should be more understandable to not argue or get mad at you if your having a bad day. If she thinks being mean to you will get your attention, she is wrong and have problems. Girls do love attention from guys that they like, but don't need to over do it like she is. Good luck!

I know. My friends see me quiet or serious and they ask me what's wrong but she doesn't even bother. If she initiates a conversation and I'm not in a happy mood, she gets mad. When I realize she got mad and I put my problems aside to talk to her, she tells me she doesn't want to talk to me because I was being a jerk, I mean, seriously? WHen I see her sad or something I always try to make her feel better but she just gets pissed at me but still, I try to be understanding. SHe is weird

you deserve a lot better then dealing with a girl like her. I don't think she cares for your interest and wants to make you miserable. I say to cut her off and that you don't want to deal with her drama anymore. You do everything that you can do and seems like its not going to get better.

She knows you'll give her attention when she demands it (through tantrums, passive-aggressive behavior, etc.), so she'll take it, however small the victory. It's a classic behavior of a narcissist, so beware. If she's more focused on you paying attention to her than helping you work though a difficult issue, then more bad things will follow. Run!
