Is a drawing something nice to give to your gf?

I draw a pretty awesome sketch of a rose the other day, and I want to give it to my girlfriend, but I just want to know if it is a nice thing to give her and if it will mean something to her?

It's very sweet to do because it's not something you bought. It's something you created which is a wonderful thing to have. I wish my boyfriend would show his creativity more often because I know he has it but I rarely get the chance to see it. It's a view into your mind and your heart to see the things you do. It's touching in emotional ways I can't describe. I have a simple clay molded rose my boyfriend made me that's been sitting on my desk for a year and I love having it. Give that thing to her.

It will definitely mean something to her if she's in love with you or even infatuated with you.. she will appreciate it :) I'm sure

but if she sees you as jsut a friend she may be like "oh thanks" lol I don't know it depends on how she feels about you

If a girl really really loves you she will appreciate it I think and it'll be another reason why she loves you lol

It depends on the girl you're dating. If she is the artsy-crafty type then yes, she'll probably find a lot of meaning to it and really appreciate it.

If she's not so much into those things, she'll still think it's nice but it's not the best thing you could give her, if that makes sense. She might not be ecstatic to receive it but she'll appreciate the thought.

That's not necessarily true. I'm not into art very much but something hand made from a guy shows effort and a lot of time commitment, which I think is better than anything he could buy. Hopefully there are other non-artistic girls who think like I do. :P

1. It's made out of love.

2. Personally made

3. It's made especially for her.

depends on how sentimental she is. if she's innocent, shy, or sensitive, she'll definitely appreciate it. if she's the loud, obnoxious type, maybe not so much. now, this is just a generalization, but also an observation for the most part. it's up to you to decide. if you personalize it with a poem, song, or write her name, she will love it even more.

Absolutely. It shows that you took the time and effort to make something for her. Even if she's not an artsy person, she will appreciate your effort and skill. Plus, it sets you up for compliments from her, which are always fun.

I would love that! But I'm a pretty artistic person myself (read: I love to doodle). If a guy gave me a drawing of the two of us that looks like a 5 year old did it, that would be so sweet.

It really depends on the girl and how well you know her. Personally I would think the guy was a bit of a wuss but that's just because the same thing happened to me and the guy was...well...a wuss.
