Guys why do you walk so close to girls?

When a guy walks by you really really close...(so close they could touch your hand-he didn't though)...but his jacket brushed up against you? Why do guys do this? It was my classroom. I teach 3 and 4 year olds Sunday School. There was plenty of room we weren't crowded or anything but I was beginning to feel a little crowded. :/ What does that mean? Is he trying to get my attention? O.O I have also seen him facing my direction alot. I'm so confused why would a guy walk so close by a girl when there is plenty of room for him to walk that is not so close to me? I don't think I was in his way...if anything he would have been in my way. :/ Help?

Haha, I had the very same situation today. We were walking with this guy and although the road wasn't at all narrow, he almost pressed me to the border so I was kinda scared to fall over. I ended up going little ahead of him to avoid these touches.

Why do you guys have to do that?

I would say interested in you, maybe wants to check your comfortably level or trying to feel you out(like if you were interested). But I wouldn't do to stranger it would be kinda weird. If it happens again maybe you could ask him casually/jokingly or just say "Hey"
