What does it mean when a guy texts you everyday but only wants to hang out once a month?

I met this great guy about 5 months ago and since day one we started texting everyday all day. we have met up for drinks twice and 3 other times at a club or after a club. every time we see each other we always make out and I have gone back to his place twice. it seems like he likes me but he always says he is very busy with his job and just likes having time to his self (he works 12 hour days most of the time)... so he only makes time to see me once a month. he knows I have a strong interest in him... but he has said he is turned off of relationships and if he was going to have a girlfriend it would be with someone he really liked.

he has told me he likes me. that he likes hanging out with me and talking to me... but really I am getting sick of the fact that we are only getting to know each other over text mostly... because we only see each other once a month.

he told me I'm the only girl he texts like this... I don't know if I should cut him off because I don't know if he only sees me as a hook up or if he actually likes me?

should I stop texting him... I would like it to go somewhere but I can't see it going anywhere if he only wants to meet up once a month. what do you think?

It seems that he puts a priority over his work, rather than you. You don't actually know for a fact whether or not he texts you more than other girls. He is taking texting as a sign that the relationship is going well. Electronic communication is not a replacement for real life communication. I would take the real thing over the simulation any time.

Once a month is enough. Don't break it off right away. Try to get to the bottom of things. Communicate with him. Ask him whether or not he wants to meet more often, then let us know how things are progressing. Look for signs of reluctance. But don't jump to conclusions. He could really be busy. Although if he doesn't have time now, do you think in the future, if you were in a long-term relationship, he would really make time for you? If he isn't wiling to make time for you know, he is probably not going to make time for you anytime soon.

p.s. Electronic communication is still necessary sometimes.

i know a guy like that , he comes from a single parent family and his mother had to work very hard to give him the little he had , so now that he is working he is giving it him all to put him self to the top , and put his love life to a side , he is now in a good job a trader in the bank and looking to change jobs to become a nurse , some would say he is a little mixed up because of his past , when he was younger his sex life was cheating with a older married woman because it did not want to hold down a relationship ( when she wanted good sex she would look him up ) his other sex life was cyber with women on the net ,

He probably just sees you as an option... If this much time has passed and you see each other so infrequently/haven't taken it to the next level, he's probably not going to take things further.

I'm kinda like this with a couple girls. They want to hang out more, but for me we just don't have much in common, but we still have fun talking about general things, so I just talk with them alot, but nothing more. But for him it might be work related.

It seems that he's just taking you for granted. You should really try breaking it off, and find a better guy.
