Hairy birthmark - gross?

I have a brown birthmark on my lower back - it's like a splodge, about 3cm across. I'm not self-conscious about the blemish itself, but it has long(ish) black hairs growing from it.

Would you be kind of weirded out if you were making out with someone and discovered it? I guess if I removed the hair it would just feel like a bumpy patch of skin or maybe a scab or scar tissue. Should I remove the hair?

Id say get it looked at by a Dr. too. If you want to get rid of the hairs then by all means, But if you don't like it, even though you're not self conscious but it you can have it surgically removed, but that's up to you.

that sound more like a mole... I've seen really hairy moles and have been grossed out, but people rarely notice unless they are looking you over from head to toe.

a mole that's an inch across?! It's not perfectly round or obviously raised, it's just bumpy and brown

I'm pretty sure that is a mole, but seriously... I wouldn't worry about it. If it does become a problem you can have it removed.

link It sounds like a mole like the one in the link. I'd leave it alone, but it would be kinda cute if you could incorporate it into a clever tattoo. Everyone would want one!
