A random guy said he likes my nails. What does that mean?

my nails? I was getting coffee and tis random guy was there with his daughter... he looked at me once gave me a smile... and then as he was leaving he comes to me and says "I like your nails." What does that mean? no ones ever said that to me...

Thanks, no it was just weird cause he gave me a smile and before he left to walk up to me and say that I thought was odd. Was never complimented on my nails before, there not perfectly shaped and I painted them myself so they were a complete mess ha ha ...!
