I was talking to her about how I can't really help her in any other way besides what I've been doing, due to distance between us and she said "you're so special". what does she mean by this?

Because she felt like saying it. Because you help her through hard times and she appreciates it.

Not ever woman does this. And you're doing a pretty darn good job too. Now my last words: she appreciates what you do for her, and she appreciates you, and you're not like all the other guys. That's what it means. I don't know why she says that, or why she uses this and not that word. Not every single word has to have a flippin meaning.
