Do short shorts look trashy on athletic girls?

Many guys including me dislike short shorts on girls which are too revealing, provocative and promiscuous. They look trashy, wasted, rude, indiscreet and sleazy on those naughty, sexy-aggressive, offensive pairs of shorts.

As long as your clothes range from modest to slightly revealing/showing some tiny bit of skin, people are fine with it. Many are strict on this because they don't want their girl/daughter to witness and engage in sexiness, cleavage display, growl, coarse arrogance in their dressing, and shaking ass off for money. Today, we have a whole lot of promiscuous, prudish, negligent, sleazy women in our generation.. We should not be that cheap and we never can be that cheap. Many can afford to uphold their family with standards in their living and dressing. So, modesty, being genteel, graceful, decent, righteous, genuine, and discreet are of high quality and should be incorporated. You understand this more when you have to rear children properly for them to become good kids.

As long as butt cheeks aren't exposed and the jeans fit then there isn't any problem. Skinny girls with limited cirves look all right in anything because they are built like coat hangers. Unlike athletic or curvy girls they rarely look great in anything.

Anyway as long as legs are somewhat toned they won't look trashy. The can look great even

It also depends on your goals. The vintage/hipster short shorts look generally works better on the rail thin girs

Yep, I have legs similar to the ones in the photos, I wear mine with a long cardigan...to cover up my ass. But I wear them with wedges though. The thing is, if your ass cheeks are covered you are usually fine, unless you have a noticeable buttocks.

No, those aren't too short.  The only way any of your butt would show at all is if you bend over in the second or third ones.  It's only too short if your butt is hanging out when you're just standing.

This all boils down to personal preference. I personally love short shorts on athletic girls.

From an objective viewpoint, some people consider short shorts trashy on anyone. And some people don't have an issue with them. Girls who are skinny or athletic are better fitted for looking appealing in short shorts.

Those are seriously well muscled legs. It's hard to shake the mental image of them crushing me in deeper...

This is clearly a year of short shorts. I prefer the flirty skirt look but either is nice. Add some pantihose or tights under the short shorts and you're ready to travel around asia like a native.

The ones you picked look fine and those legs are so amazing I doubt my brain could form the concept of trashy.

They only look trashy on trashy women, those with too much eye makeup, and who drool on expensive cars. Actually, they look EVEN BETTER on athletic women, otherwise.

very sexy, but a couple of those shorts were too short to be called shorts in my opinion. I don't think the first pair was trashy but that second two were a little on the slutty side in my opinion. I don't see what your legs have to do with it...

Wear what you want. People who voice their opinions about your "trashy" clothes are probably jealous of your athletic legs. :) Just wear them to appropriate places, like not a funeral or a nice restaurant.

But they are not trashy, they just let girls show off who they are, and how pretty they really look.

Short shorts on heavier girls can look kind of gross though

frayed faded denim short shorts will always look trashy on everyone end of story.

there is no way to look classy in them.

if you want to look non trashy in short shorts you should go for dark colors and/or loose fit,
