Did you regret not wearing revealing clothes when you were young or do you think you will?

My boyfriends birthday present to me was that we go shopping and he pays. So we went to a boutique and the shop assistant picked out a dress a lot like this for me link . It's not somthing I'd usually wear. It's just too tight and more importantly too short. So I told her and she was like "oh honey, you can wear it. Show off what you have while you're still young and beautiful. When you're my age it'll just look sad and you'll regret not dressing more sexy when you were young"

Which got me wondering. I think I dress nicley and feminine but certainley moderate like this link link link

You know soft colors and flowing skirts that don't usually end higher than an inch or two above my knees.

I'm just wondering if in 10 or 20 years I'll look back and regret not showing off my body like so many young girls do. My boyfriend said she was being stupid by the way that if she knew anything about men she'd know that no guys wants a girlfriend that dresses like a slut

More importantly: you should dress how you feel and what suits you and makes you feel good.

So what some girls like to wear short revealing clothes? That doesn't mean you should. You shouldn't wear dresses like that if you don't like them only because you're still young and "able to show it off".

I don't see anything wrong with the style you're wearing. When I go out, I must admit, I like wearing dresses, I still think it's decent and my parents like how I dress (they'd tell me if they don't agree with an outfit, but my mom is pretty cool, the most revealing dress I wear is the strapless black one on my profile) and some of my friends like other dresses, more the longer type or just a jeans when they go out, so what? We all have our own style, what we like, what suits us, what makes us feel comfortable... Just wear what feels like you.

Revealing clothes look pretty nice but not like the one you listed. This one looks a bit trashy. If you are wearing a short dress then you need to wear one which is not so tight. It has to be balanced to give you an elegant and subtle look. Here's an example : link
