That's sad that your boyfriend of 8 months has never called you beautiful. :( A girl loves to hear that she's beautiful more than anything else. He may be one of those guys that finds is very hard to complement a girl. When he's called you cute did he say you're "really" cute or when he's told you you're pretty did he say "very pretty"? Adding those two words makes much difference. Does he ever complement you on anything else... like on what you do or say? Do you ever complement him? If he's told you he loves you a few times have those few times been recently or only early on in your relationship with him? If he truly loves you he could be telling you that far more often than a few times in 8 months. So I want you to ask him how much he loves you. I think a guy could do a much better job than he's been doing on complementing his girlfriend. I'm sure there were times that you looked absolutely beautiful to him but he doesn't know how to tell you that. Try this. The very next time he calls you cute, ask him if that means he finds you beautiful, ok? See if you can nail him down on how he complements you. Then just outright ask him if he thinks you're beautiful... at a time when you think you really look great. Tell him you like the word beautiful better than cute. See how he reacts to this conversation. That'll give you a good idea if he thinks your beautiful or not. Telling you that you're pretty is more complementary than being told you're cute. Being told you're beautiful is more complementary than being told you're pretty. From here on in I want you to feel like you're the most beautiful girl he's ever seen. So to answer your questions, I'd say based on all what you said, that he finds you beautiful but doesn't know how to express that word. So it's your job now to teach him how, OK ? :)

Honestly, that's a word that feels like it would only be used on rare occasions or for strangers.
In some cases, I almost feel like it's more of a reassurance word than a compliment; like when a guy tells a chick she is a beautiful person... (feels like the next word is 'inside').
Saying "I love you" is more important and significant than saying "you're beautiful" (which I probably wouldn't use with any girl I became intimate with as a first choice adjective). I don't want to use the words "I love you" unless I really mean it, and to be honest I feel reluctant to say it to family members as well (because it feels like an obligatory response). I reserve that phrase as much as I can so that it is meaningful and not thrown around carelessly.
My boyfriend also the same, he never say beautiful, cute, gorgeous etc that boyfriend usually say to his girlfriend, he never say that to me, not even hold my hand when we are walking together, only few times maybe 10 times but we've been 9 months together hmm.. But he treating me like a woman, respect me and spoil me a lot. What is that mean? Can someone tell me? Is he serious ot not with me. It's complicated for me he never talk about our future also, not even once. 🤐
My boyfriend calls me adorable, cute, pretty, sweet, hot, and sexy most of the time.
When we dress up to go places then the words change. They become: beautiful, lovely, stunning, gorgeous, and incredible.
So...there's a time and place for certain words.

When I see girls I think are pretty or attractive but I think they are cute I will still call them cute because that is what I think. link Can you answer my question.
He might not notice it or it could be something worse. the best way to go would be to just talk to him.
the word beautiful is a word that is hard to throw around. He most likely finds you very attractive, but for me the word beautiful comes up when a girl wears something elegant for a special occasion.
dont over think it, it is obvious he is attracted to you so don't worry
It seems that he just doesn't know the word or you're just someone he uses for entertainment
cute, pretty, beautiful, it's all just semantics. jeeze.
I've never had a girlfriend but it just seems like an awkward word to say. I don't know it just doesn't sound like something I would say
very beautiful girl
