How bad is b.o ? I mean if a really hot or cute guy was shopping and you went by him and he had strong b.o not the good kind like whatever excites you from your lover but b.o. let's say your not so hot nor cute is there a difference or do some like the b.o of nasty day long b.o

Yeah that'd what I thought. Reason I asked was after ten hours of straight intense labor work I came home sat down for thirty minutes didn't even clean up went to the dollar store to get a few containers and before I went in I realized I was emitting a stale rank b.o and immediately said f*** why didn't I just shower before going out again. Saw two lovely ladies and I noticed one was working her way near me but once my b.o slapped her in the face probably nearly killed her I was like yeah never

I honestly don't mind B.O. if it's from work. I like men who work. Men with calloused fingers and rough hands and tanned arms. If they're doing work outside on a hot summer day (especially in FL, yeck), it's understandable. Plus, it's scientifically proven most males/females are attracted to the natural body odor of a female/male after she/he comes back from working out (anything that makes her/him sweat).

if the B.O. is the product of awful hygiene, it's completely different. The musty scent of dirty clothes and a man who hasn't showered in days.. it's horrible. In your case, thirty minutes (assuming in AC) is long enough to let the sweat and the odor settle, making it not so attractive. If you had gone to the dollar store directly after work, no woman would have had a problem (most likely).

If a guy looks good from a distance and as that distance closes and his body odor becomes strong and offensive, it quickly takes away his physical appeal. It says that this person doesn't value hygiene and we tend to like guys who take pride in their appearance as well as their hygiene.

Bad body odor goes straight to the brain like a strong sniff of ammonia. Its plain and simple, no one wants to be around someone who has a strong body odor. The bad thing about your chance encounter is that every time she sees you, she will associate your face with that smell.

shopping? You are breaking a sweat shopping? It might catch me off guard and be a turn off... but if its at them gym or something it could be a turn on... I don't go to the gym but I work a physical labor job, and smelling B.O. is normal for me, luckily it is outside.

If you LOOKED like you had been through the wringer at work, I would probably let it slide. After I work a double shift, I'm not exactly so fresh and so clean and sometimes a motherf***er just needs to run out for some damn milk. Of course, after I pull 16 straight hours, I'm not looking to flirt over some produce, either- I don't give a damn who you are.

honestly it will make him look the way he smells to me I tend to link the smell on or aroubd a person to them nasty smells make them seem nasty to me.

It's a huge turn off, simply because it smells bad (obviously), but it also shows that he isn't willing to do one of the easiest things ever to avoid offending people's nostrils. Showering isn't difficult, haha!
