Ever wonder why bugs stay in one spot?

Its so weird how bugs (in the house) just stay in one spot out in the open all the time? Its like theyre asking to get smashed to death. I just wish that would be a signal to the other bugs to stay the f*** away.

bugs didn't evolve in houses they evolved in the wild where predators will see them move and eat them. staying still will make them less easy to spot and more likely to survive.
