Why is Mein Kampf a best selling book in Middle Eastern countries?

It has sustained being a long term best seller in Turkey, Palestine, Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia according to reports

According to the Nazis' racist ideology, Arabs are racial Semites and thus subhumans, similar to Jews. In his book, Mein Kampf, Hitler described the struggle for world domination as an ongoing racial, cultural and political battle between Aryans and non-Aryans. He envisaged a "ladder" of racial hierarchy, asserting that German "Aryans" were at the top of the ladder, while Jews and Gypsies were consigned to the bottom of the order. On Hitler's racial ladder, Arabs and Muslims occupied a servile place, held in much the same contempt as the Jews.

Hitler made a personal remark in 1939 in which he referred to the populace of the Middle East as "painted half-apes that ought to feel the whip".

As in other instances, however, the Nazis never allowed their ideological views to get in the way of more urgent political considerations. The Nazis recognized the importance of wooing the Arab and Muslim world to their side and, in their public proclamations, downplayed their real views of Muslims and Arabs. When Mein Kampf was being translated into Arabic in 1938, Hitler himself tactfully proposed to omit from it his "racial ladder" theory.

I find the attempts to draw parallels between Naziism and Islam highly disturbing, This is not much different than attempts to draw parallels between American Radical Conservatism and Naziism. The main difference is that the first attacks a race and while the second attacks an ideology.

While it may not be recorded, it is most popular in India. I think you are fishing for an answer that would call Muslims anti-Semitic, which I don't think is the case.

Its not a best seller, a lot of those countries don't even have literacy rates as high to actually warrant best sellers. Also Bangladesh is in South Asia not Middle East, neither is Turkey. The reason is Israeli-Palestinian conflict, resulting in strong anti-Israeli sentiment among Middle eastern and Muslim countries.

I don't know why it is the best seller but anything that powerful and controversial is going to raise interest. I wouldn't mind reading it myself but don't want people to instantly label me racist when I'm most defiantly not. It's just a book but so is the bible and we all know the arguments it has started.

Why did Hitler compliment Muhammad so much and wish that Islam was Europe's religion? . The Nazi even fought alongside with the Muslims and Hitler had appointed imams tolead against the Jews together

First time I'm hearing Hitler wanting Islam in Europe, such ideologies oppose Islam vehemently. Far right groups practically condemn Islam and that they are taking over.

They fought with Muslims because at that time Jews had started moving to what is now Israel. Arabs/Muslims were enraged, hence they saw it as beneficial alliance. As for them they wanted Jews out of their land. British instead supported Jews and hence carved the land into two, one being Israel.
