What does it mean when a guy says good to hear from you?

I'm just learning English and I met this guy the other day and he told me it was good to hear from me. What does that mean?

There are exactly three options what it means:

1. It basically means his interest in you is 77.42% which is high but don't count on it. Since he's not sure about you either. If you want to increase his interest level, you should text him with short cute messages. But head up, don't over do it, meaning don't text him more than once a week.

2. Another thing that could mean is, that you have a nice voice and he's delighted that hear your voice.

3. Shortly before you called him, he lost temporarily his hearing. Now that he gained it back, he's delighted that he's able to hear again.
