What do you think of guys who wear Superman shirts?

Title pretty much sums it up - what do you think of guys who wear Superman shirts? When I was younger I used to think they all were just muscled up jerks who thought "Look at me and my bulky muscles, I crush you like Superman!" (Russian accent included). But once I really dived into Superman the meaning changed for me into something more personal, and so I too own one of those shirts, and now I feel like a tool since the movie came out and Superman crap is everywhere. So I was wondering, what are your thoughts on the Superman shirts, or superhero shirts in general? Or do you simply think they're nerdy or display someone's interests?

I think it is fun when people display their interests through clothing, keychains, etc.. it's like representing what you love. My boyfriend wears Iron Man and stuff cause he's a super geek, even works at a comic book shop. I'm not into super heros but I'm into other nerdy stuff so when I see someone with something like that on their shirt I think they must be a cool nerdy person :-)

like you said,it's really popular now,so you'll be seen as a faux-nerd,but that's just prejudice,superman does have a relateable story,if a person gets to know you they'll see it's personal for you. those who mind don't matter,those who matter don't mind.

I don't think it's necessarily nerdy. I really don't think too much about it, I just would have thought that he's one you're favorite superhero. I think its cute, plus I like DC heroes.

I enjoy superman.. Before the movie I liked him. I think it's nice when people wear comic shirts whether its DC or Marvel. I used to read them a bit.
