Are you comfortable naked in front of family?

I'm definitely not comfortable with it but I have a friend who says his whole family is comfortable with seeing each other naked and they even walk around the house naked sometimes, this includes his parents, brother and 2 sisters. Am I missing something? Is there more families like this or does everyone else find it weird like I do?

It happens. Totally not unusual to see my family walk through the house in just shorts, sometimes completely naked (although not as common, usually just means someone got muddy at work and is running for the showers LOL). Nothing uncomfortable about it, they're family.

I should state, I'm not North American. I'm European and it was a huge adjustment for my family to move to Canada where nudity=sexual. I'm comfortable in my skin, I love my body and there's nothing sexual about that.

To be honest it still boggles my mind that some people can't walk around in their birthday suit even in the privacy of their own home. I put clothes on because I'm cold and society says I need to, not because I feel the need to hide anything.

My family was like theirs. It wasn't something we DID intentionally, but neither was putting on clothes just to avoid being seen. But that was away from town with distance to the neighbors, so perhaps that has something to do with it?

my family have always been like that so have friends with there family's and if we visit each other we happy to be naked then too. It's no big deal to be naked or nude with anyone it's not sexual to be naked or nude

No, hell no lol. Me and my Dad back then never got naked in front of my family, only my mom would. I personally find it weird with my family, but once I have my own and all I think I'll be perfectly fine with it.

That family is weird. Most families full of developed young adults/adults don't see each other naked all the time. It's inappropriate.
