My mom's apartment is tiny, so when my sisters and I stay with her, we change wherever we can, even if she's around. It's not a big deal. It's not like she's going to be a creeper or run away if she sees one of us is in the buff.

But for the past year and a half or so, I made sure to not let her see my stomach because I have a tattoo there that I never told her about. My wife is very open with her body, she's Chinese and so her family are very traditionally minded but she tells me she has always been most comfortable naked even going back to childhood. It would be easy for my father to see me naked - just like in a locker room. Re. my mother. If I were going from the bedroom to take a shower, naked would be OK, or if for some reason we needed to change quickly, and had only one room, or is she was putting on make up on, or whatever in the bathroom, and my shower ended, I would walk out and dry off.
