What do guys think of funny girls?

I think I'm funny and I get told I am a lot but I've heard people say guys prefer being the funny one. Is this really an issue?

Guys basically don't care about dating someone funny as much as girls do.

I would also say a lot of girls think they're funny, but they're not. Of course this applies to guys too, but it seems to apply to girls far more often.

I must admit it's rare that I find a girl hilarious, and when I do, almost always she has an unattrcative eprsonality in some other way.

anyways, masculine doesn't = male. most people come out fairly androgynous on studies. and many women come out extremely masculine.

Love funny chicks, they're more approachable and a blast to be around. I'll actually overlook a lack of physical attraction because of it. And no, humor being a masculine trait is BS. More like men feel that being funny will get them hotter chicks. It's like saying all black, Portuguese people are funny. Doesn't make any sense. One of the funniest stand up shows I've attended was an all girl line up.

This is weird if you think that's true. I've never heard this. Both should have a sense of a humor that make each other laugh. Girls who can make me laugh get HUUUUUUUUGE brownie points, girls don't tend to be as funny as guys in my experience, but only because they are shy about it or like you said, feel pressured... To be honest, this is the silliest thing I've ever heard. GIrls should be themselves, and if they can be funny then awesome.

this is the impression I got after living in the states and watching while not participating in the dating scene. later talking to men on this site who confirmed this and told me funny men are worth more in society and especially in relationships.

For some reason I genuinely find very few women comedians funny. It just feels so forced.

Having a girl who can be funny is still great, but it's usually the guys who want to be the funny ones. That doesn't you mean you can't or shouldn't be funny though. Just be yourself.
