It's well established that most women value a man who can make her laugh, but for men, what's IMPORTANT is that she has a sense of humor - which doesn't mean that it's particularly important that she makes him laugh, but rather that she understands when he's making a joke so that she isn't always getting offended by things when he's just being funny.

If a girl is actually funny herself, that's a bonus for a lot of guys (and a turn-off for a few) but it's not a core requirement and it doesn't make up for a lack of a core requirement.

It's kind of like a guy having a nice car - most women won't date a guy just because he has a nice car, but if she already likes him, then the nice car is a bonus. But if he's missing something important to her - for example, if she doesn't feel safer when he's around - then the car won't make up for the lack of that core requirement.

Here's what I have learned : having chemistry with someone is often why you find them funny and vice versa. That goes for friendships and relationships, so it's not about being a funny person, but finding someone you have chemistry with. Anyway, yeah, people like those they can laugh with easily 😂

I've heard more often than not that my sense of humor is why guys are often fond of me - not necessarily sexually attracted, but they appreciate my humor hence they like to be in my presence.

I guess laughter would be good for anyone.

Absolutely, my girlfriend is a very funny woman and I’ve seen plenty of hilarious women here on GAG. Funny humous and over all hilarious people are great to be around regardless of gender.
