Do men like funny women?

A woman who laughs at your jokes a lot, but can make you laugh just as much.

I hear this can be intimidating to men if a woman is funny, is this true?

Yes, but much more important is that she finds me funny. 😅 One of the reasons is that I use humor as a tool to deescalate conflicts and turn what might be a tense and uncomfortable situation into a funny one. It's a diplomatic tool for me.

I don't typically need a woman to make me laugh nearly as much as I need to make her laugh since I don't get very easily offended or upset. I don't need that level of diplomacy to calm down and cheer up.

My wife makes me laugh but actually because her jokes are so horrible! She tries to copy some of my jokes and completely botches the timing, delivery, and sometimes even the punchline and I find that hilarious.

Still, it's definitely a bonus to me if a woman can make me laugh as my wife does, even though her jokes are so horrible.

Sometimes just being goofy is funny enough and I always liked women who are a little bit goofy since I associate that with authenticity. I figure everyone is a little bit awkward at least sometimes; people who never seem to be goofy at all start to make me suspicious that they might have rehearsed everything they did and said and too self-conscious about their image. So I love goofiness!
