How would you deal with a daughter who was a nymphomaniac?

Question

We all expect our sons to be perverts when they turn 13 or so while expecting daughters to be well behaved sweethearts who would never do bad, chase boys or go all the way until they have careers at age 30 or so.

What if you had a teen daughter at age 14 of so who just couldn't keep her legs and mouth closed from sex? What if she just openly told you, "mom dad, I wanna f***!"? How would you deal with that?

I'm worried about having kids and dealing with teen issues when I turn mid-50's should I have kids now and not later (if ever). Easy for me to judge until such a scenario explodes in my face. So, any solutions other than eternal exorcism by drowning my daughter(s) with holy water? I think I can handle sons, but girls? Oh boy...

Well, I would talk to her about the law for whatever state we live in, and explain to her that, legally, she's not old enough yet. (Age of consent varies by state but is at least 16.) I'd tell her that she should wait until then, at least.

Aside from that, I'd probably ask her what she means when she says she wants to f***. I'd talk to her about the health and safety concerns involving sex, and about what STIs are and how they work. I'd teach her about consent, and to never do anything with someone who doesn't respect her feelings or stay within what she's comfortable with. I'd make sure she knows that anything intimate should always be a willing choice by all participants, and that she should never feel like she has to do something she doesn't want to do, or try to make someone else do something they don't want to do. I'd explain to her that I would be worried about her safety, and encourage her to wait until she's legally old enough. I'd also offer to help her do research or find out any information about it.

And most importantly, I'd make sure she understood that no matter what she did, I would always be there for her and support her, that she could always come to me or her mom for help or advice, and that I loved her no matter what.

My sister lived like you claim you'd want your daughter to be. You think a switch flipped when she got married? She's still uptight and repressed.

I want my daughters to try to have the sex life they want. I want them to look back at the end of their lives and feel that sex was something that made their life better. I want them to understand that sex won't make someone love them, but that sex when you're in love can be really important. I want them to enjoy sex. I want them to feel like what they want is okay. I want them to learn how to ask for what they want, how to make compromises with partners they care about that they feel good about.

I know they will make mistakes. I hope they can avoid major mistakes with long term repercussions.

Talk to her with understanding. Explain all the consequences and implications of her wish with complete blunt honesty.

If I am met with the same courtesy, convince her of what is good for her and what is not, offer her any help I can think of and my full support.

If I am met with a teenage superiority complex and utter refusal, see step 3.

If I am met with bratty spitefulness that in reality has nothing to do with real sexual desire, I'd take a step back and leave her ass to my husband to discipline her with necessary measures.

I'd never let my daughter disrespect me enough to turn wild, hell even look at me with spite, I'd never ignore her enough for her to turn whore and I'd never defend her from corporal punishment while she is under my roof breaking my rules.

Hey. Who am I to talk? I'm only 20. Well it worked for 3 generations of great people behind me that I know and have heard of, I've had examples good enough to feel pretty confident about keeping a brat in line.

Who knows what life may bring and what it is really like, but what I got so far about parenting is pretty straightforward and efficient in the best interest of the child.

an actual nympho? send her to a therapist,get some meds,or natural alternatives that lower your sex drive. if she just wanted to have sex-scare the crap out of her with STD,pregnancy and STI info,never let her go anywhere where I don't have someone who can tell me what she's doing,at least till she's 17.

I remember that age... Those girls have low self esteem . They think having sex will make boys like her. I think its a bit late to change that, but you can try by taking her away, and get her into activities/clubs.

Just need to be strict and keep an eye on them... I don't get parents whose kids are out at about 11 at night and drinking/smoking. If my kid did that I'd kick their ass.

Well, if the wife was okay with a threesome, I suppose I'd give it a shot. If not, I'd have a quiet word with my daughter when her mother was away, and we'd arrange for some private time together.

I'd fight the urge to strangle her. Assuming that I won, I would try to talk to her and convince her to not do those things. If that doesn't work, I'll make her life a living hell and once she leaves, she's not allowed back and she'd be disowned. I don't think I would be that bad of a parent before that, so there's probably no fixing her at that point. Then I'd be pondering what her mom was doing at her age, because she certainly didn't get that from me.

I would simply make sure she was on birth control, knew about stds-their consequences, how to prevent them, and I'd keep close tabs on her.

Teach them about safe sex, diseases and the like.  If she was 14, I'll ask that she wait until she's 15 when it's all legal anyways. Then it's her life and choices.
