Under relationships not sexuality how would you treat your daughter what kind of things would you do with her to show effection?

It depends on what she's like. I would try to hang out with her. Some kids don't like to hang out with their parents that much, and you should respect that. I do recommend trying to bond through their hobbies. Do they enjoy music? Take them to a concert of a musician they like. Do they like creating art? Take them to an art class or to a space that has amazing scenery so you guys can draw together.

Don't judge her for her interests. My dad did this to me. He would always be like "Really? You like The Strokes? Julian Casablancas is a no-talent @ss clown." It always hurt my feelings and made my loathe spending time with him.

The four of my daughters are each unique individuals Julie is a bit of a tomboy, so we used to throw a football a lot. Brit is girly, so I took her shopping. Hailee is a gamer so we used to beat the crap out of those controllers, and Emillee was a reader, so with her we shared books.
