My foot accidentally got stabbed by a sharp stick. Is there anything I can do to treat it?

I decided to walk outside my backyard and have a breather. I stupidly never put on my shoes and as I was walking my foot collected a sharp stick that went IN MY FOOT!. The cut is long and if I slightly move the top part of the cut it opens and it looks deep and its numb :(

Is there anything I can do to treat it. I'm unable to go to the doctors just yet.

First apply direct pressure on the area with gauze or a damp paper towel to stop the bleeding. Then clean the area with warm water and gentle soap. Next, apply an antibiotic ointment to reduce chance of infection. Then place a sterile bandage on the area trying to pull the edges of the wound together. Elevate the site to prevent or decrease pain, swelling and throbbing. Take Tylenol or Ibuprofen for pain per the directions on the bottle. Go to your doctor or a clinic as soon as possible to get some stitches if the laceration is the thickness of the skin.
