I can't diagnose this via the Net, but if you have anything like a torn labrum, you will need a long period of rest Trying to tough it out will cause more serious problems. As you say, you are off balance and ot symmetrical, now, and for a dancer, that's asking for further injury if yu try to put stress on the damaged muscles; the other muscles will start complaining to you because theywon't be able to function properly when you are a little off balance all the time.
Your knees especially are going to be at risk.
