Do you think there is a classy sexy and trashy sexy?

Question

Women like to feel sexy (as do men, but in a more macho way). So, when women go out they want to dress in a sexy

way. But, sexy can go SO wrong SO fast lol. Like, if you

are showing nothing but skin to the point that people

think "she should've just come naked". That's trashy

sexy, like the way Miley Cyrus dresses or Maraiah Carey.

But, if you just put focus to one specific area. And, everything

else is properly covered, that's (in my opinion) classy sexy.

So, what do you think, is there a classy sexy and trashy sexy?

And, how would you define the two?

It's heavily dependent on whether the person them self is classy or trashy. A classy girl can still look classy in the most revealing of clothing as long as the clothing looks good and is of good taste.

I really think classy and trashy are partially just different words to describe attractive and unattractive. There are exceptions when this isn't true, but someone had a good example below. Take Pamela Anderson... from a pure physical standpoint, she doesn't look near as classy of a look as say, Stana Katic or Jessica Alba.

Pamela Anderson just has that hyper-sexualized barbie look that you would see more commonly as a results of lower class upbringings. Stana Katic and Jessica Alba, even though they may not have (I don't really know), look like they've come from wealthier upbringings and have the demeanor that also suggests a more stable home life, growing up. If they wore something revealing, it wouldn't change they fact that they are still very classy ladies. They just have that look.

Physical features of an individual play a big part, in my opinion. More than clothing a lot of times.

I don't know why yu would call someone trash 'sexy.' I'm not attracted by a trashy exterior, no matter how well put together that person may be.

'Sexyy' is a positive vibe, not just showing a lot of skin. Miley Cyrus ALWAYS looks trashy, for example, even when she is covered up.

Yeah definitely. I've been told that I sometimes dress classy and then when I look at my outfit it's definitely leaning towards "sexy" but not trashy iimo. So it can be very much true. I agree, it's all about what you're drawing attention too. Legs seem like a good option but overly done cleavage for example can automatically place a girl in a more trashy sexy classification. It depends on how you do it and how much you're revealing. Personally I say, save those trashy outfits for the bedroom. I love corset type of tops and sexy stockings but I've learned that there's a time and place for that...  which is not out in the public!

Example of classy sexy is a tight black dress that covers a decent amount of thigh and boob but shows a little peek of each but leavesa lot to the imagination

Trashy sexy is something that shows a Ton of boob and leg and not much left to imagination

There is definitely a big difference between the two. And you greatly described the differences. Trashy sexy can catch the attention in a hot way at first, but then think really negatively about the outfit. But a classy sexy is eye-catching and a pleasure to look at. It's admirable.

There is a difference and the only way I see the two differently is subtlety.

A classy sexy person, male or female, looks delicious but also looks dignified. Hard to do.

A trashy sexy person fails to pull off classy sexy whether by a bit or a mile.

Classy Sexy- you can still see the outfit as sexy on the person even though she might reveal bit of cleaveage. it is like peek a boo kind and yet done in a tasteful manner

I guess my rule of thumb is that a "trashy" outfit leaves nothing to the imagination - nothing is really covered.

That being said, I feel there's a time and a place to be trashy if you want to, I don't really have a problem with it.

When I want to look sexy and not trashy I pick an 'asset' to show off.  Cleavage, Midriff or Butt but not all 3.  I have no idea if that's the case but that's the rule I live by.
