Can you go back to a bar another night after being kicked out?

So about a week ago I got kicked out of my local bar for no reason. I was about to leave the bathroom and a bouncer grabs me and asks me to step outside with him. So I cooperate and do so willingly. We het outside and he said I'm gonna have to kick you out tonight because you were acting drunk and a bartender complained you were knocking over drinks on the bar, which wasn't true at all and I wasn't even near the bar , I was by the dance floor. So, either he or the bartender mistook my identity for someone else who was doing what he said I was doing or he made up a bunch of bs just to throw someone out for the fun of it or because they let too many people in (was a very busy night), or I wasn't buying a lot if beer and spending lots of $$$ (was only a second beer in 2 hours, was not drunk). But the guy basically acted like even if I am wrong your already kicked out too bad. a**hole. And as he started to go back in I barely walked into the doorway (not trying to go back in) , and told him basically okay fine, I know its busy tonight, ill take one for the team, if I'm out I'm out and ill take the fall for something I didint do , but I still have a tab open and the bartender has my credit card and I need my tab closed out and my credit card back. So he got all pissed off so I backed away and chose not to escalate it. So two hours waiting out in the cold, my buddy finally comes out ( who is actually drunk). So I teold him what happened so I get him to back in to close my tab. And the bartender gives him a hardtime getting the bouncers involved almost kicking him out but finally they give in.

So, thing is this is my local bar that I always goto. I've never had a problem, I'm always courtious to the bouncers and bartenders there. Some of them I even know as I'm a regular. This night the people working I had never seen before. I always follow the rules and don't cause any trouble or get too drunk. And if I had gotten kicked out for a legitimate reason I wouldve left and not contested. But I mean I goto bars a lot and have never gotten kicked out and always get along with the bouncers and bartenders. And I understand that bouncing just like being a cop can be a rough job and there's reasons they're not always nice people. So, I'm not saying bouncers are a**holes.

But anyhow, I still want to go back and I'm willing to put that night behind me even though it kind of pissed me off because I was labeled as a "troublemaker" or "riff-raff" when I'm not and wasn't doing anything wrong. So my question is from your experience if you get kicked out of a bar for something like this is it just for the night or your not allowed to come back?

I don't know who the manager was. I asked to speak to a manager and the bouncer basically said "this time of night we are the management." And I wasn't trying to provoke a fight or argument I just wanted to explain my side of the story. But once you been marked to get kicked out, your considered a "threat". And I'm debating whether calling up and complaining about this will make it a bigger deal then it has to be. I'm thinking about giving a few weeks then just going back.

Speak to them about it when you go in cold sober,and explain they had the wrong person and the barman (or the bouncer) was mistaken.

I hadn't ordered a beer in over an hour. I pace my drinking so I don't get too drunk and stop drinking at a certain point of the night so I can drive home. The cops outside, I was talking to for 15 min (one of them I know personally) ,they thought I was fine, then I drove home none of them nailed me when they were everyone else. I had a couple beers, I was no where near drunk. I mean also the bar was socrowded it was hard to move anywhere without bumping into someone. ThThat could have been it.

So probably one of the people I was trying to get by on the way to the bathroom who was actually drunk overacted and spilled their drink and it looked like I was stumbling into people causing them to spill their drinks when I wasn't. That probably was it.

I think you've got a good case,if the cops thought you were sober enough to drive.

I went back up and tried to tell the bouncer at the door that but I guess once your kicked out your kicked out. Cops are intensely trained to determine if a person is intoxicating. I can too and I know when I'm actually drunk and just had a couple beers and just buzzed. A buzz goes away in a half hours or so , intoxication takes hours.

Do they have descrimination laws in your country?Se what they can legally do or can't do.

I'm white, but I feel it couldve been part of it. The bouncer was black. Don't get me wrong I have friends who are Asian, Black, Indian, etc. I can appreciate all cultures and I'm not racist. I hate racist ppl. But there have been incidences where I've felt I've been discriminated against for being white. That would be a hard case to fight in court though compared to the reverse. But I feel we should eliminate all forms of racism. And many times it happens in the reverse than we normally think.

Why would you? Like who would you brag to about solving the case of "I'm innocent of being kicked out of the local bar!". They don't care, I never remembered anyone I kicked out of a bar. You take a picture of them if you're going to ban them, or at least make sure to push them into a bright area the cameras get.

You say you're a regular, but you're joe smuckatelly to them. They don't know you or your name. Move on, chill out at a new spot with your friends and don't dwell on it.

Lovely it's never easy but I agree. I've recently found a place that I liked, left and came back and the new bartender kicked me out by mistake, soo the bouncers said just come back. The next week or so I returned only to get kicked out even faster without explanaition though I was reasonably intoxicated I didn't understand why. The bouncer again took some empathy towards me as I asked asked him if I'd had a bag with me I believe I was quite intoxicated seeing that I would find it where I came but. I'm a happy guy always and not a mess ever but I don't believe I want the embarrassment of even returning to ask, At least not for some time

As a former bartender, my advice is don't call. Go in person, and go close to when they first open before it's not busy, and go in dead sober. I wouldn't bother with a long story, just say you were there the other night and were asked to leave, you could say you think it was a confusion but regardless you enjoy being a patron at the bar and want to know if it was a permanent 86 situation or if you can come back in the future.

Emphasis on being calm, cool, respectful, polite.

Don't focus on reiterating the situation, how you did nothing wrong, being defensive and trying to get your side of the story heard. Maybe you did accidentally knock over some drinks and didn't notice, or as you left for the bathroom some drunk person knocked over a bunch of drinks and when everyone looked, they pointed at you as you walked away. This is not the time to solve the mystery and get justice. Just move on and move forward. Show whoever is at the bar, that you are a decent person who respects that the bar serves who they want to, and ask if you are part of that group.

As a bar manager myself, go back during the day and ask to speak to the manager or owner. Tell them your story and they will likely apologize and welcome you back. Do not expect them to go after the bartender or bouncer.

if they think you're too drunk they ask you to leave. legally they have to. you can usually come back the next day.

It was a really busy night. I talked to some of my buddies in the fire and police departments. Fire marshalls go into bars on really busy nights and they can only have so many people in there. So they randomly kick people out when theyres too many people and tell them that theyre drunk when actually theyre kicking out the people they think are alright to drive home. So they ll pick on people going to the restroom or people who leave and come back. And part of it also is if your hanging out and

Not really buying food or drinks theyll kick you out too. So I'm pretty sure I ended up being one of the randomly selected people to be booted. And make up a bogus story. I could tell the guy wasn't being straight with me and had this dishonest smirk on his face. And basically said theyres nothing I can do sorry and turned his back when I said I only had 2 beers! Hmmmmm...but this was the night before Thanksgiving the bars are unusually crowded.

Whether you get back in depends on how well the bouncer remembers you, or maybe another bouncer who knows you well.

When I was a bouncer, if you left with no fuss, you could come back the next night. If you made trouble, banned for a week.
