As someone who does not drink anymore, of course I could do it and have. The better question is why would someone who chooses not to drink go out to bars frequently with their “friends“? If you live a fairly sober lifestyle, I can tell you it’s just not that appealing anymore to do the bar and club scene. It can be fun if you’re in a small group of friends who are mature and not looking to get hammered or hook up, but that’s really as far as I go. If you don’t drink you don’t hang out a lot in bars or with people who go to them a lot. It’s just smart

    yes, I did... many times

because we were not a group of heavy drinkers... nor we were a group of lets get wasted AF!! lol

so yes, I had it very easy... I would just be hanging out with girls usually, or with the dudes by the pool table (or poker behind "that" door) and then many times I was at the stage, lmao

I usually drink if people expect me to drink - but if I'm alone, I will get a cocktail rather than a beer or a serving of mashed potatoes which I like more than beer. To me beer is like a party drink - it kind of gets you into the circle.

yes, no doubt and it wouldn’t even be a struggle. sugar gets me drunk, so all I would need to order is a soda and I’d be as high as if I took several shots plus added some weird drugs in there

    yes, most of the time.
We have a strict policy on drinking, nothing 24 hours before your shift.
Last thing you need is someone nursing a hangover and they make a mistake.
I don't drink that much anyway, so I just don't have an issue with not drinking.
    And no hangovers.

Yeah, lately it had been me going to games and having no alcohol or just one can early on with being the driver. Part of it is me being the season ticket holder and having the parking pass i guess. Or cause $9 a beer can just buy something else more tasty.

Ofc that's why there's people who don't drink like me
We can just drink a soda pop or whatever else alcohol free that we like a tea or coffee etc.
You dont need alcohol to socialize or have fun.

I hardly ever drink so it would be a piece of cake unless they actually had cake at the bar then I probably couldn’t go without a slice or two of cake but I can quit anytime I want so it’s not like an addiction or anything, it’s just one slice of cake to take the edge off.

    Absolutely. It’s about the experience.

But alcohol doesn’t have to be complex. If you want to try a liquor, just add tonic or ginger ale. I loovve bourbon and ginger ale. But any liquor is better with tonic, too. Just an fyi of peer pressure gets rough.

Yes if I’m the DD. We always have one and she’s also in charge of keeping an eye on anyone’s drink if they have to go to the bathroom or something. Keeps them safe from someone tampering with their drink.

My friends aren’t drinkers themselves, we’ve never been bar people. We’ve always been happier just to enjoy good food and laugh. More likely to find us at a pub who serves food or a general restaurant.

You DON'T need alcohol to have a good time friends. It helps once in a while, but great company and energy goes a long way.

After working in a bar a surprising amount of people drink non alcoholic drinks.

The trick to going undetected is to order when your friends have moved away from the bar and can't hear you order.

    Not in a bar.

We could refrain from alcohol if we went to a night club to go dancing where water, soda or juice and some finger foods will be just right.

If I'm the designated driver, yes I'll skip the alcohol. Many times I've gone to bars and told the bartender that I'm the designated driver and I got any non alcoholic beverages I wanted for free as long as I was there.

Move on Convince your ex your moving away pack your bags make it real convincing And then Go to another state Then take photos or video call your ex telling her showing her your bags and proof your in another state and you won’t be coming back then drive back to your home state and pay a Mechanic to Paint your car make it look different make your car windows tinted and Park your car somewhere else where your ex won’t see it And read some license plate that is yours within walking distance of course then you won’t be bothered by the jealous ex
      Problem solved

I could and I have done it before. It's not the norm though. I usually join them, it is a bar after all 😃

Sure, I’ve done that quite a few times. I usually get soda and popcorn while everyone else has beer or wine.

No point in going if I'm not having a beer at least. Sport bar to watch a game with a drink or 2

I work at a bar 3-5 nights a week and don't drink most nights, even though I can

Yeah. I enjoy alcohol but not as much as others so I have more or less no qualms with not drinking.
