Does anyone else think Lady GaGa is overrated?

I really don't understand why people like her. I like that type of music I just can't stand her. Miley Cyrus used to be my least favorite, but now Lady GaGa has easily taken the top spot. I think her fashion sense it really odd. Why do people like her so much?

Yes. She is 100% OVERRATED. People are absolute sheep these days... acting like she is John Lennon or something. Not by a long shot. She is a pop tart with mediocre talent, who is only this famous because of her wacky attention seeking outfits. Her voice is AVERAGE. She whitney houston, she isn't aretha franklin or even beyonce/christina aguilera. Her lyrics are laughable and all about going to clubs/ having sex (typical pop tart songs)... plus her music is nothing but overproduced electronic dance crap. Where is this "Amazing talent" you're seeing? Because she can play piano? Woo freaking hoo. So do millions of other artists as well as guitar and other instruments. It's certainly not like she is the only person who can play piano, it is incredibly common. So basically she is another over hyped pop tart. Except this time the world has become delusional into thinking she is this amazing talent when she isn't. She has a decent voice, and can play piano. That's it. Her vocals/songs/lyrics are nothing special at all. Her IMAGE is what made her. Had she come out with the SAME songs but wore plain black outfits all the time, she wouldn't even be famous.

That is so very well put. I haven't understood the LG obsession from the beginning. I think it's just that sad generation who have grew up with Britney Spears as their major musical influence that are so impressed with gaga's 'talent and uniqueness'. After three years of nauseating radio overplay, I have to admit, gaga's song are pretty catchy. But... so is herpes.

I think Miley Cyrus is one of those teenie bopper artists that only under age 15 like. It used to be Hillary Duff but now that Hillary is older...she's not as liked as she used to be.

I like Lady Gaga because she reminds me of Leona Lewis/Kylie Minogue kinda mix. I think her music is different and I like her because a lot of artists aren't orignal and are copy cat or piggy back versions of other artists.

she has good music. and maybe her fashion sense is off the radar but so is some of my friends. and my own, I don't dress like some of the girls in my school. I wear muscle tees and ripped jeans almost all the way up. not very normal but I like it. I hate tee shirts, they choke me. but I guess lady gaga is just wanting to be different from every other pop star out there.

In that industry I do think it's about looks but anyway. She is the only singer that every time she goes out, has to wear just her underwear of always shows her nipples. She does that for the publicity because she can't actually sing for sh*t.
