Which grosses you out more; vomit or feces?

Weird conversation inspired this one, sorry LOL. They both gross me out. Feces grosses me out more, who knows why. What about you?

The liquidity and putrid nature of vomit renders it both unappealing and unfit for any alternate function. Feces, however, can offer-up hours of entertainment assuming the loaf in question has characteristics typically associated with a premium discharge. A firmly-pinched steamer can be used for a variety of practical applications. For example, I'll often lovingly form mine into a variety of small animals which I'll place atop my bookshelves once they've hardened, and why spend money on shoe polish when I can manufacture my own? Should a given log prove particular odiferous I'll often lay it on the dashboard of a bothersome neighbor's dashboard and video tape his reaction for future enjoyment. And should a given stool be a bit "loose" in composition, I'll often fish through it in search of peanuts and corn "recyclables" which can, among other things, be used as doggy treats. Conversely, I can't think of a single redeeming quality to be associated with vomit.

Vomit, the smell of vomit makes me sick... The smell of faeces doesn't have that affect on me, I don't really think either is unbearably gross in simple terms, it's all just digested or partially digested food matter it's more the smell that puts me off. Unfortunately I've had to deal with vomit and faeces often enough that the physical side of it doesn't bother me as much. I've had to take apart a sewage pump which was bad at the time, but puts other situations into perspective.

Feces grosses me out more too. Which is pretty odd considering we all poop and WAY more often than we vomit.

I guess it's just the fact that its just more GROSS! There's normal poop, diarrhea, constipation, floaters and sinkers, all different sizes and shapes. Not to mention the HORRIBLE smell that comes along with it sometimes. Sometimes it hurts and other times you get stomach cramps.

So that's why I'm more grossed out by it than vomit. The worst thing is seeing what you ate mixed with other things you ate, getting a soar throat, and a bad taste in your mouth!

Oh, and how can I forget when/if it ever comes out of your nos is pretty disgusting as well...

Now that I think about it your right they're both GROSS!

That's a good question, I've never thought of it.

I know for sure I'd pick blood and pus over feces and urine any day, but I had never wondered about vomit ! I worked in the ER for a while, and pus never made me puke while feces/vomit nearly did.

I'd say vomit is not that bad if it's not warm/fresh :/ Between cold vomit and feces, I'd say the worse is feces but between warm vomit and feces, I'd say the worse is feces.

So, from horrible to tolerable :

warm vomit -> feces -> cold vomit -> pus -> blood

I can clean up dog crap and cat crap and horse crap like a champ but show me vomit and I get sick. Not sure I'm a sympathy puker because I always run or make someone else clean it up. But I probably would be lol

I think I'm more grossed out by the smells they produce but if I have to choose, I choose poop especially the sight and smell of diarrhea poop. Sometimes it funny to see poop when it not in the toilet becuase you know that dookie was killing them so bad they had the bubbles guts and to drop their drawers because that shit was coming hard and fast.

Being a custodian at various schools the last 14 years or so gives me a bit of an expertise in this area.  While both can be awful... There is just nothing like poo.  Yes vomit is awful but poo clearly has the Championship belt.  Don't know how many people out there have ever had to deal with a turd in a urinal but trust me it's no fun.

I think it depends partially on how nasty each one is looking. You know, like color, hard/softness/diarrhea. Over all though, I usually find human feces to be more disgusting if it's something left in the toilet or something.

If we're talking about pets, I usually find vomit worse. One, it makes me said to see animals puking, and two, vomit is a lot harder to clean up than feces when pets do the business.

Vomit. Just the sight of it or hearing someone vomit makes my stomach churn.

Poop is gross too. But considering how many of us had our diapers changed by our parents as babies. I'm sure people can learn to tolerate it.

And iv shoveled manure plenty of times growing up on a farm. Its bad at first but you get used to the smell after a while.

Vomit, definitely. I mean, you have to TASTE the bloody thing when it comes out while with poop you don't because you don't have taste buds in your anus. This is the decisive factor for me.

Everyone poops. Everyone probably throws up too, but not quite as  natural as pooping. Babies poop, I poop, you poop. Last time I threw up I had Norwalk virus.
