if life is a river, are you floating downstream, just dealing with whatever comes? Or does your life have a target and you're furiously aimed at it, letting nothing get in the way?

Not far from me, there's a 100m tunnel you have to walk through to get from a village to a neighbouring town. It's unlit bar a few little red ground lights to mark the path. It's particularly dark at night, so a torch is handy, but that just adds character. The pictures are of it.

Many places have a pedestrian tunnel, some long some short. But how do you feel about walking through them?

Hey everyone,
As the saying goes, " If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I've been living at my apartment for 7 years now. It's affordable, I'm comfortable, and there are no issues besides a bug problem because the apartments are old. I'm having mixed emotions on whether I should move or not to something more upgraded with a change of scenery or if I should stay where I am?

I don't think so because I've seen some really older people with children make unwise decisions.

Some believe though that having children can lead to a kind of wisdom—experiential wisdom—that comes from the intense responsibilities, sacrifices, and emotional growth that parenthood often demands. It can expand empathy, patience, and one’s understanding of human development and relationships.

But I believe wisdom isn’t exclusive to parenting. Wisdom comes from broader life experiences, introspection, and growth as a human being. Some people never find that whether they are parents or not.

But what do you believe?

I am an introvert through and through. I have few friends and I enjoy my time of solitude. I get really anxious when I have to do social events and my social battery gets pretty low fast when I have to be social.

But anyhoo, what about you?

And just in case you might not know, an ambivert is in-between being an introvert and extrovert.

Not my burden to carry. He can’t deflect blame and should face his OWN responsibilities. It’s sad that such boys always walk away with a lighter heart as you feel disgusted and fearful.

that the scents/odors we smell are really just particles from those actual things?

Most of it are gases that get released from the bacteria on certain materials that are biodegradable: like foods, also other humans (the dead skin cells/ sweating etc.), and some of these particles are also scents which come from chemical reactions.

Like as with bleach, or natural particles coming in contact with certain metals.

I didn’t know this before. Until just a few days ago.

How we are essentially breathing in gasses from these items… which in some format means we’re taking in a bit of the actual object. At least directly from the bacteria on those objects. Even as with poop 🤢😵‍💫

Thoughts?

That there’s water in milk? I didn’t know this until the other day. It’s supposedly 87% water and 13% solid: protein/carbs/fat. Etc.

I JUST learned this the other day. Incredibly deceiving in a way.

On GAG I've seen quite a few "have you seen a ghost?"or "Have you seen a UFO?" Questions. But as we know, the world is also populated by monsters. There's the Loch Ness Monster, but there's more than a few lakes around the world with their own monster.

Sea monsters are still spotted globally. I often see strange humps or odd splashes in the distance, I put them down to dolphins or seals, but who knows?

American forests are riddled with Bigfoots that nobody has managed to shoot, but have you seen one?

Personally I use the thinner TP or bidet/reusable. As a woman the thick stuff drives me nuts for obvious reasons 😖
