If you grew up in a country different from your birth, do you have a strong connection with your birthplace?

I have some connection with the land of my birth. I occasionally visit or know family and friends there pretty well

I am strongly connected to the land of my birth, I often visit or came back to live there

I’m not sure I understand the question. Are you asking if I was born in a different country, would I have the same attachment to the country I was born in? Because the answer is a pretty solid “no.” The reason I’m so attached to the country of my birth is BECAUSE I was born there, and for no other reason. Sure, my nation might be a dumpster fire politically but that doesn’t mean I don’t love my home, the landscape, the people, all because it’s things that I’ve known for all of my life. That love is NOT transferable for other nations.

I'm asking if you were born in Country A, but moved shortly thereafter to Country B where you were raised, what is your relationship with country A.

Country A is my home, same as country B

I've moved twice and soon a 3rd time and visit once or twice a year. I don't feel a huge pull but have family and friends there. As the years go by it feels more if a drag to go back and I tend to limit length of stay.

Outside of being an actual baby, and going back, I'm never been cognizant of anything about my home country. My family shows me pictures but I was way too young. I don't feel any pull towards it, because I grew up in my mother's home country and it's all I've known. I find it interesting to see the different perspectives on it all for those that aren't living in the country of their birth, as an adult, now by relative choice.

It hollows you I find. Sure it broadens your character in a superficial way but draws out a lot of what you feel about your roots. Kinda like how most black Americans would feel if they went to their ethnic "origin" they'd feel nothing like they're part of the culture there.

Well English is my first language. It is taught in schools in my country. And i know my languages too.

I moved to UK for education, and I love it over here.
It's fucking expensive but some how better people, and better conditions for survival.
I feel I should have been born over here.
