So, recently talking to my bestie, she and I realized how both our boyfriends tend to lack empathy.

My boyfriend is so stubborn that he isn't wiling to yield on certain things, or, even consider that he could be in the wrong. It has resulted in fights between us, ending with him being confused. I ask him questions like "if you were in my shoes, and I said that to you, how would that make you feel?"... and he then will come to realization, and apologize, or at least meet me halfway.

Do you think its possible to make someone more empathetic?

they count up the votes and whoever got most in that state, the electoral college selects as winner for that state etc

Instead we should eliminate electoral college and it say this state win this and that state won’t that, NO.

I stead get all the total votes for this person from this state and from that state etc etc

then add them all up for eve RT person that voted from every state.

whoever has the most votes wins and that’s truly what the majority of the people selected.

Making delegates and electoral college is a scam to democracy.

it still comes down to what state had these many votes and yadda yadda, instead of just count ALL the votes not by state saying this state isnksotkynthis and that state mostly that no. Not by states, just ALL as a country how many votes did this person get and how many the other and the other.

it is also a scam that they choose for only republicans and democrats to always have the power and the others are just for deceitful purposes to make the people thing this is a “democracy”

along with abolishing the electoral college we also need to eliminate all the Israelis that have infiltrated and infested our government.

I've met this guy 2 months ago at an extracurricular activity and immediately thought he was cute and I had the vibe that he liked me too, he even asked for my ig. Around 2 days after that, I couldn't stop thinking about him so I sent the scary first text and that's when we started texting constantly, he asked me "out" but didn't say it was a date explicitly, we had a lot of fun and saw each other 2 days after that, and so on. He initiates physical touch like back patting or holding my hand for a second etc, he gives me flowers, we talk about deep stuff sometimes until dawn, and overall I'm completely sure we like each back. However, even though he always has fun on our dates, I have to initiate them almost all the time. It's like he avoids telling me the exact day he will be free so I always have to suggest it. I'm feeling really uncertain about this whole situation and want to let him know how I feel because I'm a 100% sure he feels the same way but he's either scared of rejection, or scared of getting hurt in a future relationship. What do you think I should do?

I wouldn’t. It’s foolish trying to impress someone who will never be impressed. He can keep his inferior favourites.

I have friends who had been with other men while their partner is overseas.

Tomorrow, I'm going to make soup, which means tonight I've got to make the stock. Hopefully there'll be enough left for other dishes.

Do you make your own stock or buy it in?

If you tried the same workout routine as your partner, would you succeed or would it be too hard or otherwise impossible? Would it fail for Endurance, strength or because of other complications?

I tried my husbands' workout routine today, and I was kinda surprised about some results.

• I beat his leg workout.
• I failed his arm workout by a long-shot.
• I got closer than I thought with his torso workout but failed.
• As we sometimes go jogging together, we are on par with that, although he could go faster while I could go longer.

I do know he fails most of mine. I do 95% body-weight exercises so that gives him a disadvantage.

So I think I do beat him with endurance but other than leg-focused parts, he is at least stronger in every other aspect. So workouts don't necessarily means actually being stronger, but it's an interesting comparison I think.

As an add-on for a bit of clarification; I did a mixture of his exercises because normally he does different stuff on different days. I just tried nearly everything on one day but stopped when I couldn't do it, which gave us time to try more. I didn't do his full weekly plan in one day, but I tried most things.

The song I am talking about is “Woman’s World” by Katy Perry. It is mentioned that women are superhuman and number one. If that is so, then why are women dominated by men in every physical aspect like in sports and why can’t we impregnate others and have many children without any problems like men can?

I bought a thicker yoga mat, since the one I already had just wasn't doing it for me.

Was gonna buy some dumbbells but.. they are still in the cart. Don't need 'em...

So, lately I’ve been thinking about starting a club at school. I want to name it “R. O. L. E. S.” as in everyone has or plays a role in someone else’s life. It stands for “Roles Of Love, Empathy, and Service”.

The premise is that we do acts of service and kindness for communities that really need that love or extra support. It will also be a way for students to gain community service hours.

Yes, I want to build a strong community within the club, but I also want everyone to feel like they don’t have to interact with other people they don’t know ALL of the time. I want to be able to provide activities that don’t need people to interact with other people directly and have them still get community service/activism hours for it.

My vision is that there’ll be different layers to it, or two different groups working on projects. What I want to do is: have people who don’t want to interact with others (like at fairs or other school events) do all of the background or set up work. Those who don’t mind taking to others can sign up to speak with others. Anyone is open and welcomed to do both or just one. This way, everyone can participate in any way they’d like, get hours, and feel comfortable doing it.

I’m posting this to ask if anyone thinks it’s a good idea to do this. I’m not sure if there’s a club similar to this in my school, so it’s definitely just an idea for now.

Also, if it does happen to be a good idea, does anyone have any ideas as to which programs/communities we could reach out to in order to help?

I want to do acts of kindness in this club. For example, we could have a day where we hand out roses to people whose names got written down by a friend who asked us to give it to that person. Maybe, we could write cards to the elderly. We could also help suicide prevention hotlines (though I don’t know we’d get to that point of permission).

If anyone has ANY ideas for as to what we could do, please let me know.

He said he will return it. He gambled a lot of money, his own (I don't know how much), 200 of mine and 800 that he borrowed. In comparison I make 1200 a month. So he gambled what would be my monthly salary and probably more. He makes around 3000 or more. But it seems he has a big gambling problem.

He saw messages on my phone that I am planning to get an additional job to do in the afternoon. And he said that I must not work that much and that I need to think about the baby. I snapped at him told him that I really need the money. All I have now is like 3 euros which can get me a cup of coffee around here and he tells me not to work that much. As if I have a choice... He didn't leave me any. I keep crying he says he is sorry but that he can't do anything about it, that it is in the past.

Please share if you have any experiences. That being said, I recognize that some people will complain about everything, and some people will see the bright side in everything, but I want to see what most people think and why.

Just to be clear we're talking chips not crisps here.

Here's 3 well known British egg dishes, 1 from each country. I've left out Ireland because all I can find is a boiled egg wrapped in a mashed potato ball.

England. Egg and chips. A plate of chips and soft fried eggs to dip them in. Sometimes, beans are added.

Scotland. Kedgeree. Curried rice, smoked haddock, and eggs. A popular breakfast dish.

Wales. Anglesey eggs. Creamy mashed potato and leeks with eggs plonked in and covered in cheese sauce.

So, three traditional popular recipes no one outside of the UK has probably eaten. But which is the best? And if you're American, can you remember eggs?
