In this case the left is correct. These tariffs are going to destroy America cause a depression and could cause the rest of the world to sever ties with the US dollar costing us our place as a superpower and sending us back to a second world country.

For example, a medical professional at a clinic/hospital may need to know whether you are assigned male at birth, assigned female at birth or intersex.

In most other contexts, if you don't want to be a bigot.
In most cases it would be okay to let people self identify.
If you go by self identification.
Then a woman is someone who identifies as a woman.
