Hi Poppy let me try to explain to you about what’s a potato chip and what’s a french fry potato chips are actually chips that are very crunchy Kind of hard based and salty. French fries are the soft part of the potato that are a little tiny bit crispy and a little soggy they are both very good the potato chip and the french fry, but they are totally different, the french fries were invented in Belgium. The potato chip was invented in New York USA. My favorite kind of french fries are called curly fries. Let me send you some pictures of potato chips and curly fries

I assume you’re from the UK instead of the United States. As an American I prefer brands such as Lays, SunChips and Pringles. Not exactly healthy but a nice indulgence once in a while.

I make Heston Blumenthal thrice cooked chips sometimes. I use Kipfler potatoes. It takes about 4 hours to serve four. They are miles beyond any chips you can get takeaway.
