I want to make my room cozy but I hesitate between keeping the balcony or turning it into a bay window

Cupcakes are crap aren't they? Far too much faffy icing to make them worth bothering with. But sooner or later you're going to be faced with eating one of these monstrosities when someone thinks they're clever because they found a recipe on tiktok.

Sure it might look pretty, but they're awkward to eat, so how do you tackle one?

Both have their strengths. Chains seat more people generally. They also tend to have lower prices and better deals.

Your local restaurant on a whole tends to be higher priced but better quality and fresher ingredients.

I knew the 2nd season wouldn't surpass the 1st one because it was honestly perfect the cast was just immaculate, but this season was just below average which one do you prefer and why?

I know this question probably seems odd, but I don’t have a lot of experience with men and I’m quite crap at reading signals. I also have no confidence because my first crush humiliated me. I’ve been seeing this guy at work and he caught my eye. He doesn’t work in my department. The interactions started with him smiling at me with prolonged eye contact (I have never really seen him talking to girls outside of his department except for one who works in the canteen)

It was always him who smiled first and it was me who looked away first

I eventually said hi to him and we have little conversations now and then

After I first said hi to him, he went though a phase of ignoring me and looking away from me when we were in the same area

When we talk, he stands quite close to me and his pupils are very dilated

When we are talking, his eyes are fixated on mine and he will glance at my lips quickly before going back to my eyes

He seems somewhat fidgety when we talk
Yesterday, he smiled and we said hi, and then when I started chatting to him properly, he smiled even more

I was walking to the canteen and my (prettier) friend was walking in front. He was walking towards us but he was fixated on me and didn’t even look at her

My friends say they have seen the way he looks at me, and to quote, “they would be upset if their boyfriend looked at another girl the same way”
I’ve noticed that when we are in the same vicinity, he will tidy his hair and check it in his phone camera

Sometimes we won’t have any interaction, just a few glances and that’s it

It’s just baby steps at the moment, but do you think he may find me attractive?

Don’t say India. I live here and they are not very classy but I’m doing fine. I face 100 times more hostility on the internet.

I feel a bit like I’ve been scammed because my old guitar teacher just confused me a bit and wasn’t very clear how he was explaining stuff, then would get a bit annoyed if I took a guitar lesson off someone else, he’d say “you’ll just confuse yourself if you take lessons or advice off other people.. they don’t know the angle we’re coming from”. But then he’d say “there’s no secret to playing guitar, it’s just hard work and focus” but then he’d say “I’ll let you in on a secret that professional guitarists use…” so it seems like he contradicts himself and doesn’t explain stuff that well maybe.

It’s really weird because all his other students say how great he is and how he’s really helping them, but I don’t get that. He’s had some very successful guitarists as students and they all say he’s helped them… but what he says to me is all wishy washy nonsense or at least he doesn’t explain things very well. Then my college lecturer on my music class explains stuff and it all makes sense to me. I dunno, I feel a bit taken advantage of by that guitar teacher, like his quality of teaching was purposely bad so I’d get more lessons. I also feel a lot of anxiety when I pick up guitar now so it seems like getting lessons with him has lowered my self esteem somehow. I feel a bit like I’m going crazy but can’t pinpoint why.
and I don’t get why he chose ME to do this to? I’ve been told I’m fairly intelligent and learn things easily so maybe he feels threatened by that and wants to slow my progress down so I get more lessons? I also felt a lot of anxiety around him like he’s judging me harshly. He’d also say “I think you know more than you think you do” and he’d keep going over the same topics again… and claiming that I don’t fully understand basic stuff… I dunno 🤷🏼‍♀️

He keeps a certain amount of distance between me and him… he follows back all his other students on instagram but never followed me back (and I unfollowed him).

He flirts with me, gets mad when I like someone else, and expects me to only take guitar advice off him and his mate… he got a bit mad when I post on Facebook asking about guitar/musician related stuff and then he always texts to say stop looking on Facebook, other people don’t know what they’re talking about (true, but there’s some good advice on there too). Also during guitar lessons if I mentioned I had a lesson with someone else or took advice from someone else he’d say “you’ll only confuse yourself if you listen to other people’s advice, they don’t know the angle that we’re coming from” but then he will say something that completely contradicts “there’s no secret to learning guitar, it’s all just hard work and focus” but then he makes it out to be some wishy-washy thing like there’s an inner circle of musicians who know the secrets to playing… I feel like I’m going crazy. Then another guitarist explains something to me in such a simple way (his friend) and I understand it better. Is he trying to confuse me and undermine my confidence so I get more lessons with him?

I also said how I want to learn jazz standards etc. and he said that what I’m trying to learn is too complexed at the moment… but I can play it fine with a bit of practise? I dunno just feels like he’s scamming me and giving better teaching to other people… why would this be?

I mentioned how I think I fancy someone else on my university course and he said “get in there! 🤣”

then he said “why are you talking to me? Text him then! 😂😂😂”. Which is a bit of an odd thing to say.

Then I jokingly said “oh but I was hoping you me and him could have a threesome? 🤣”

then he said “Mate!! my kid just read “threesome” on my phone.. don’t send stuff like that!! My son was in the car with me and reads things on my phone a lot just so you know!! Hope you’re having a fun evening”.
he’s never gotten mad at me for sending nudes to him because of “his kid”.

Do you think that actually happened or he made that up (or he wasn’t actually mad about that) because he’s jealous that I fancy someone else?

He’s never gotten mad at me before like that so I wasn’t expecting that at all… Is he just entitled and feels entitled to me and my attention.

Do you think it’s weird my nice gentleman male boss (I’m female) was on lunch break passing by me and told me to do something work related? He was on break clocked out yet still wanted to boss me around? By the way he’s not my direct manager

Dating is so hard and seems like you are never going to find your match till you do!

Everyone lied about meeting me in my wild dark side it scared them and they hurt me till one day someone just loved me there and joined me!

It might involve sexual things or it might not and I’d be clear about my intentions from the beginning. Not that long ago he said something that implied he’d date me if he could. That combined with a long flirtatious and semi-romantic history between us and the way I’ve seen him look at me and act with me makes me believe there’s a good chance he’d be with me.

REASONS I FEEL IT MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA:

• My mom and I saw a movie in which a woman decided to be with a guy despite knowing he’s going to die. My mom said it’s not about how long the connection lasts, it’s about how deep it is. That made me feel like maybe it’s worth experiencing a relationship with my friend even though my ultimate goal is to find someone else.

• A part of me feels like life is short, and I should live in the moment as long it’s not something unsafe.

• I’m afraid that if I don’t take my chance while I have it, I’ll never know for the rest of my life how it feels to truly be with him romantically.

• I want him so badly it sometimes drives me crazy.

• A part of me feels like the reasons for not being with him don’t really matter when I want him so badly.

REASONS I FEEL IT MIGHT BE A BAD IDEA:

• I’ve never had a first kiss or date before and a part of me wants to save those things for a guy I feel more romantic about.

• I’m afraid I won’t be able to not compare the way my future fiancé touches me with the way my friend would touch me.

• A part of me hopes to lose my virginity to someone I’m more deeply in love with.

• Since I’m uncertain about the situation, a part of me feels like a ‘better safe than sorry’ approach is best.

The place where I work currently I have been there for a year and four months but I feel I don’t fit in well with my colleagues due to my quiet nature and introversion.

At work there it seems to be more in favour of extroverted colleagues who are loud and love social situations and one of the basis for being promoted in the place is social interactions and being seen rather than your skill set.

it effects me sometimes a lot and I feel ostracised at times by my coworkers. Am I being unreasonable and should I keep trying or start looking elsewhere?

Like if she’s in danger, would you feel the need to protect her?

I don’t know exactly why, probably because I feel protective over my friends siblings and I know my sisters friends would but I don’t know about my brothers friends, but this is something I’ve been curious about for a long time.

Basically meaning like a bunch of bad stuff will happen all at once.

I've gone through this multiple times in my life but going through it again like just in the last week its been every day that I keep getting terrible news dropped on me 🌧

I'm trying to keep in mind that storms don't last forever and brighter days are ahead ☀️
