My dad and I got in a huge fight today because for my whole life all he has ever done is criticize women so harshly and their appearance. He was very hard on me as a young girl and wouldn’t allow me to do anything while my brothers were allowed to do everything. He always calls women Whores and bitches and idiots. And we were watching Netflix show and the son told the dad not to call women bitches and he called the son gay so we got into a fight. But now at my age I just want to know do most men have this same mentality? And do married men really still look at other women and talk about them sexually with other men?

Should I be turned off by my online friend? Or am I overthinking this? So I’ve had an online friend for a few years and he started wishing me a happy birthday every year after we got to know each other a little better. There were times where he would & I wouldn’t, when that were the case, he’d follow up a few days or maybe a week after saying I forgot it was his birthday (more subtly). Last year, he wished me a happy belated & this year I decided to also be more laid back. I just asked him if he had a good birthday maybe a day or two after it actually happened, I sent him that message after he followed up with me about something else. He leaves me on read yet continues to view my IG stories. This has always been the case, he’s always one of the first to see my stories but may go weeks without msging me. A few years back, he’d literally go weeks without replying but will be the first person to see my stories or comment. But when I’d take long to get back to him, he’d *jokingly* say that I’m ignoring him or ask if I’m busy. Honestly I don’t feel like I did anything wrong so I don’t see the need to reach out, it just seems hypocritical. You can be busy but I can’t? He hasn’t made a comment like that in years & his response time has gotten better but it’s been almost 5 months & I haven’t heard from him. I have a tendency to delete people when my frustration has built up, I don’t know if it’s an avoidant personality style trait. But he’s the only “friend” I have so I want to think this through. It’s not looking too good & I’m feeling tempted to ignore him if he reaches out again or remove him from IG soon if I don’t hear back before then. I don't know if this indicates anything but after taking online quizzes, I came back as DA and he came back as FA.

After reflecting back on this man I talked to I can’t put my finger on him..

I talked to a guy that tried to emotionally manipulate me into having sex with him even though I said no and I needed to work on myself.. ofc when I said that I still wasn’t ready he turned into a jerk and he stopped making me feel safe.

I feel that he truly didn’t respect my boundaries

He follows explicit trans and male male female content… incest stories…alot of the content he follows are people who live in the same city as him… a lot of the men following those pages had “dl” in their bio…

I think he connects with those individuals…

I met him off a dating site and he uses a false name and I just discovered that his profile is set to women and nonbinary individuals

Some people like to focus on only one person at a time where other people like to date multiple people. I don’t think I see an issue with it although I would feel weird to be dating someone who is dating like 10 people and was having sex with all of them- even if we weren’t having sex that would be disgusting to me. I wouldn’t want to touch them at all like even to kiss. 🤢

I think it’s probably good for some people who need a lot of attention because if you’re just in the beginning stages of getting to know someone you don’t wanna be super all over them, but you might have.. I don’t know attention needs so in that case dating a whole bunch of people until you narrow it down to someone you really get along with and may compliment your need for attention -or whatever - that might work out well. You can just replace attention with any other thing that you might need a lot of that you can’t really dump on someone in the beginning of getting to know them.

I don’t know that I could date people at once. I think it would be really exhausting, but I could see the merit in it for other people to do that.

I’m not referring to playing people. I’m referring to the situation where everyone is above board and you know if they’re dating other people and they know if you’re dating other people and if I got to the point where you wanted to have a relationship with a particular person, then you would stop seeing other people and they would stop seeing other people.

Someone at my workplace is undergoing this issue. She broke up with her ex boyfriend but they have a cordial treatment because of their baby girl. The guy is always there for the baby. Their baby is slightly under 4 months old. She doesn't want to be a mother anymore and feels she won't provide the care and love the baby needs. She's thinking about placing their baby up for adoption (to a new family) but the ex boyfriend will oppose and likely request to be handed his baby girl.

If your ex girlfriend doesn't want the baby anymore and is thinking about giving up the baby for adoption, would you accept being a single father? Would you let her give the baby up for adoption or raise the baby yourself?

I believe this statement because a girl blocks a boy if he's acting as a cheater towards her but a boy blocks a girl if he feels that she will make him look wrong if he's continuing with her even after she said him no.

I'm munching my way through a pot of jelly beans which are supposed to be different flavours as indicated on the side of the pot. As I flick my bean into my mouth I'm trying to guess what flavour it's supposed to be, I'm not doing very well.
