Hinge has become a shitstorm

I asked this guy if “Craig” was his real name before going out… I didn’t feel like it was… on the date I asked him what’s the name his mother gave him… he’s not American… he said “we do have American names in our country “…. I asked him again and he told me…

So that wasn't his real name…. Is that worrisome? He didn’t want to tell me/ didn’t plan on telling me.

So he asked me what I “wanted “ relationship wise… I wanted to know what he was going to say so I let him go first. He said he wasn’t ready because he’s not where he wants to be career wise. So then he told me to go and I said the same thing.. because it was kind of true and I actually mentioned it prior…

He said..” noo you're just summarizing what I said “ and seemed a bit fustrated that I said it …

But what did he want me to say? What did he want?

My oldest is 22 but I didn't raise him. I was a teen mom. I was basically child free for years and then fell pregnant 18 years later.

Many days I looked back into my carefree peaceful and spontaneous life. Random naps, outings and most of all I did have peace and was a tiny bit happier.

And now here I am with my second child who has ADHD, ASD and ODD. And I'm miserable and wonder why I did this to myself. I always wonder would I be happier if I never had a second child or is it only because my second child has such awful fucked up and challenging behaviors.

Normal or not?

So my boyfriend and I have been together for less than 5 years, we’re youngish and both live with our families still. His parents own this place they go to when they are able to, so my boyfriend and I wanted to go just the two of us but it seems like we have to pay for our time there. Do you think it’s fair or should it be for free since he’s the son?

So I decided to move because my old neighbor who had her lease terminated and was facing eviction because of the hell she's caused never got evicted! Management is so fucking shitty for that! I'm the second neighbor to complain on her for the harassment and excessive loud noises and fights with her boyfriend in her household.

So she didn't get the fuck out and I left! I found a new place. The new place is in a more urban area in comparison and a little run down but doable. I intend on cleaning everything over so me and my child could feel comfortable. It would only be for 1 year.

With a low credit score, other reasons and the fact I'm breaking my lease and had to find a new apartment to avoid renewing my lease has been hard enough! I couldn't find shit and time was ticking.

So my mom TODAY threatens to fight me, calls me a hoe and piece of shit after seeing the apartment and area. Calls everyone she knows talking badly about me. This was all over the apartment and area! I decided to disconnect myself from her. She wasn't even trying to be positive or supportive or thankful I got out of the toxic and miserable previous apartment.

I don't even know what to think, it's crazy. Her reaction was as if I called her a bitch or set her house on fire or something.

I’m getting old and Im getting kind of skittish in terms of dating now. It wouldn’t surprise me if I stay alone until I’m 30

I met a guy named Brad back in Nov 2023. We were dating long distance until March-June when we began living together and got engaged in May. I was in school at the time and got dismissed, so when my family found out, they sent my sister to move me back home. My sister met Brad for the first time because I hadn't told them I was with anyone until then. She immediately didn't like him because he doesn't make much money and his house looked very run down. She basically said I had no choice but to come home because my mom wasn't doing well, and we all left the same day so Brad could meet my family. Me and Brad promised each other I would leave that day to be with him.

While I watched him interact with my family and heard their concerns, i thought it would be best for me to be at home for the time being since my mom just got a pacemaker placed and needed me to care for her. Brad threatened to end the relationship then, but decided later that he will wait because my family said they'd throw a small party and I'd move in back with him after that in Sept. He kept saying how me staying with family wasn't right the whole time, and how he didn't want to do the party anymore. I did not know what to do because we all agreed that the party was fine.

Now, it's been a day that he blocked my number and Instagram so there's no way for me to contact him. I do want to be with him in marriage because I care about him and don't understand why he can't do the party. Everyone is telling me varied things but do you think I did the right thing by staying with family and waiting for the party? Or do you think I should've just left to be with him by now? I thought what my family was doing was fair considering that me and brad are from different cultures and he didn't ask for my hand in marriage prior to the engagement either. Plus I had gotten dismissed from my program so I needed time to figure out a new career path too.

Lately I’ve been seeing lots of ads for Tinder, Hinge, Bumble, etc. and they all claim that you can find your future partner on their apps. When I was younger, I used to use dating apps, but I have never had any luck finding my future partner. However, I did meet my now current boyfriend on Instagram and we’ve been together for almost a year now. My question is do you believe you can find your future partner on a dating app?

My mom had 7 kids and always took care of her appearance and worked! All my sisters did the same and so do I. in my opinion it's an excuse to be lazy.

Even after the first nose jobs she was still ugly. It took a number of rhinoplasty's before she could start to look how she looks today. So much fave surgery, eye surgery, upper and lower eyelid surgery and opening the eyes surgery m. chin surgery, mouth, teeth completely changed and smile as well. she is so fake. Her natural appearance matches her real personality. What do you guys think?

definitely not Hollywood beauty without surgeries. And definitely not getting away with being such a gross person with these looks.

Im 21 and sometimes i just want a quiet comfy place to talk with my boyfriend. i dont mind if the door is left open. and before anyone says their house their rules, I've seen my brother in the past bring his girlfriend in the room while my parents were there. Guess what they didn't say anything. Note that im the youngest child among three. They like my boyfriend so they really just illogical. When i ask my mom she just doesn't really want to discuss with me and says because i said so or because i dont want someone in my house while im doing chores. These just sound like lame excuses. Dont suggest cafes, bars or parks etc done that been there. Im talking about something else.
