Do women really care that much about what a man looks like or what he has ⬇️⬇️?

As always internet affected our vision on the other gender. The internet show us what they think we want to see. Most guys may think that now all girls want is money money money or the guy to be tall. In some cases it’s just preferences but honestly it isn’t that much required. a lot of girls would go by the vibe the guy gives off rather than analysis him to know if he fits her demands. [[Alot of girls wouldn’t care if you were short or less fortunate. The people who care the most are the self entitled ones who only care about what they want or what they need to themselves without even seeing if they have anything in common with guy. In my opinion i’d go with any guy who is about 5’4 because i’m 5’0 and I feel like a lot of short girls want a 6’0 and it’s just unnecessary and it looks weird. It will always be the broke ones or not that good looking girls having A LOT of standards. I’ll always defend the guys side on this one because when a guy has preference everyone gets mad at him but when a girl has preferences no one says anything it’s just unfair.]]

Everyone cares about looks because that’s our initial way to judge if someone else is healthy and able to live a happy life with us. So yes women and men care about looks.


But as you said the “6,6,6” preference thing is way blown out of proportion and I’ll explain:


6 foot - this is mostly a western preference on a dating website profile. It’s a round number and psychologically sounds better than 5’11 or 5’10. If someone was to use the metric system they may say 2 meters but that’s a few inches even taller than 6 foot. So as you said girls prefer a taller guy but a 5’2 girl would be happy if he’s 5’6; he’s taller and can protect her.


6 figures - sadly in 2024 with inflation even making $100,000 isn’t what it was 10 years ago when the “6,6,6” thing started. If you live in nyc or la, $100,000 is much different than living in Iowa. Again this is just a preference and the reality is women want a guy who has a steady job/income because living monthly has bills and they don’t want a guy who can’t pay his own bills much less for a future family.


6 pack - probably the most extreme preference. Guys who actually have a 6 pack are likely in shape but also are likely a model or athlete who works out constantly and may devote more time to their bodies than time to family and their community. The reality is yes women want their guy to be healthy and not obese but many times if they actively date a guy with a 6 pack they may feel badly about how they look in comparison and worry about their guy cheating on them.


Its a long answer but I think it’s reasonable that ignorant guys will see these as requirements and feel rejected by girls or make excuses to not even ask someone out if they don’t fit into these boxes. But guys who never try can’t succeed and women will not show up on their doorstep begging to be their girlfriend.

And you mentioned vibes. That means a woman feels safe, feminine, and a connection to a guy. This emotional connection is something women do care about and if he’s physically attractive as a baseline is what matters when forming and building a relationship. Those vibes can spark chemistry and create the opportunity to build trust with someone special

I don't like being like anybody else I don't like being the norm with society's rules because I don't believe in society's rules

Just because somebody else like me doesn't mean that I have to just because I like something doesn't mean anybody else has to like that something because it's not about them it's about me the first thing I want to date

. So if you want to be happy forget about what everybody else thinks or says you have your own rules you know who you are you've made your own choices to become who you want to become so live that life and be happy smile

Yes, I care, to a degree.

I admit, I am more attracted to taller guys even though I am petite (5' 3"). I think subconsciously, I view him as more capable of protecting me and I feel safer. I feel like I can relax and other guys will leave me alone because I've got the "biggest bull" defending me, so to speak.

If I see a guy my height walk by, it doesn't even register to be attracted to him. But if I see someone legitimately over 6 feet and fit, it catches my attention. It might be similar to guys catching sight of a girl with gorgeous long hair and a trim waist; automatic.

I actually kind of hate that, though, because I know that height has nothing to do with character quality. I would totally date a shorter guy.

I couldnt understand what I am agreeing or disagreeing with based on the question/text.

I diagree that women care that much its more about the overall picture in my opinion. If the guy is attractive to her it doesn't matter if he's 6.0 or smaller in my experience. It just that the guy beeing taller than the girl is an often attractice factor thats why a 6.0 guy has usually more "options" than a 5.6 guy for example.

You often see below average/financially subpar guys hanging out with decent women compared to their standards at social gatherings, colleges, etc.
Some of the reasons for that include: That particular guy having a magnetic personality, energy, positive and caring attitude , etc.

I can only tell what I've experienced.

Girls be loving their phones and social media more than boys. I got ghosted multiple times because they didn't like my response to their question. "Do you have instagram?" - "No, I don't do social media". Radio silence.

In fact, I doubt girls even love boys.
