I read a gov stat saying 90% of adults have it. The ones that don't are probably recluses and people with extreme germ phobias. I'm assuming everyone i know has it and nearly everyone reading this comment. I've just never seen an outbreak on me or anyone else I know. I saw it on a girl on the beach one time. Her mouth. Looked painful. So yeah, as long as their immune system is enough to avoid outbreaks, I'd be fine with it.

I’m a virgin in my 20s and have never kissed anyone and tested positive twice recently. I haven’t had any outbreak and I literally have no idea how I could’ve gotten it but here I am. It seems to not be a birth thing either because my mom said she’s taken tests many times a long time ago and hasn’t been told she has it. Reading comments on other social media platforms of people being rude pisses me off because my situation just goes to show that you don’t even have to have a high body count to get it which is insane.

I wish the way you thought was the norm but the fact that it’s classified as being an infection and or disease makes it our jobs to let the person we’re getting intimate with what we have to give them the choice of being with us or not :-/

Yeah, most people already have it, and I'm in that number myself. It would be very very odd for me to be like "You dirty slut!" while I have the same virus.

Some people get it, genital or oral and stay in denial, to spread it to more people. For myself I'm asymptotic and only found out I had it when I gave it to my wife like 3 or 4 years ago. Again, no idea where it came from.

In your case it could have been something as simple as a kiss when you were a baby.

Most people have it, and in most cases it's not a problem nor even noticeable.
Stds get less scary as times goes on we keep developing great treatment for them and Herpes is on a list that most of the time it don't even need treatment.

There is, but that's mostly due to either misinformation or just not knowing enough. People fear what they don't know and for some reason don't inform themselves to actually gain knowledge.
