Harris and Trump shake hands at New York 9/11 remembrance ceremony on 23rd anniversary of attacks

President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, former President Donald Trump and Sen. JD Vance are commemorating the 23rd anniversary of the September 11 attacks, appearing to put political hostilities on the back burner for a moment as the nation remembers the tragedy.

All four leaders were in New York on Wednesday for a commemoration event at Ground Zero in Manhattan. Trump and Harris, just hours past their first in-person meeting at the presidential debate Tuesday night, shook hands ahead of solemn commemorative ceremonies after Harris turned toward Trump and both extended a hand. Vance and Harris did not appear to interact.

Harris and Biden then traveled to Shanksville, Pennsylvania, to participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Flight 93 memorial. At that ceremony, Biden placed his hand on the wreath as the small group he was with bowed their heads. The president and vice president also stopped by a local Shanksville volunteer fire station that served as a key gathering point for families in 2001.

Biden and Harris observed a display of a cross made of the plane’s scraps. Biden made the sign of the cross before walking in to meet some of the families affected by that day.

Later in the afternoon, they will both travel to the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, for another wreath laying ceremony.

Trump will also travel separately to Shanksville later on Wednesday, according to a source familiar with his plans.

While candidates in active campaigning in past years have traditionally avoided politics on the anniversary of the attacks, this campaign cycle is notable for its toxicity and it remains to be seen how and whether each campaign will engage in politics on Wednesday.

Much like how one insures their car, why not also your gun? Regulations would need to be put in place to make sure a person would be a responsible gun owner in the same way regulations are done for responsible drivers. You wouldn’t be able to travel with it if you didn’t have proof of insurance. It would mean that if something happens to/with your gun that caused damage to property or people then your insurance would pay for such a claim rather than you. If your gun is stolen and then retrieved by law enforcement you would only need proof of insurance to retrieve it because you’re a responsible gun owner, it’s not your fault it got stolen. If someone else uses your gun for malicious purposes, it takes the blame off of you because that may be your gun but that doesn’t mean you gave them permission to use it in such a way and the insurance would be the one going to court over it rather than you if it reached that point.

I think so because menopause leads to emotional and physical problems. There is a higher incidence of bone and heart diseases after 50 linked to menopause and lubrication is reduced, so women find it challenging to enjoy sex. I think women should be able to decide when to have menopause.

Some say they look old-fashioned but I like them. Curious to know what people think.

You don’t get trained properly, everyone gossips about each other, you get ignored while being micromanaged due to the lack of work. And you show up to work in the afternoon. Along with 2-min bathroom break and 1 hour lunch break. With the pay of $2 extra. Two times more than job #1 makes.

I thought it was a trump Kamala debate, apparently now we know why Kamala and Biden refused to a neutral debate and had to be done under their specific rules specifically under pro leftist networks.

why bring that up and not bring up how democrats were the first to no accept a win when trump won?

We’re currently in a dating app era & the idea behind dating apps seems practical yet you hear more bad than good things about them. Almost 30 & I’ve never been in a LTR, I have accomplished everything I currently want out of life but been able to find a quality guy. I’ve owned a condo & strive to eventually own a home in a few years, are dating apps to blame behind being single or is there more to it (aka am I the issue)? I’ve been told I’m attractive by all kinds of people for a good chunk of my life but I’ve never been approached in person by a guy I’d like to date (getting checked out doesn’t count).
The only times guys I find attractive have acknowledged me were on dating apps, it’s just there’s times where maybe I feel burnt out & can’t be bothered to end up meeting that guy in person.

Or when I feel like I have *options*/ I’m in a mood where I just don’t want to put in the effort. And when the app outlook looks dismal at a given moment (like now), I consider deleting & reinstalling at a later time. I get bored after communicating too long etc, it may seem like self sabotage topped with my terrible anxiety but I’ve never felt SO unsure about something in my life & that *something* is dating. Unsure if my lack of libido/lack of interest in being sexual might play a part (no health issues). There’s always that voice in the back of my mind that makes me think the right guy will change all of that but who really knows. I’m worried I’ll be shriveled up & when I finally have that drive, it’ll be too late to find a match. I heard an influencer say the other day that there shouldn’t be pressure or a rush to date, it’s an opportunity that’ll always be available.
