I think so because menopause leads to emotional and physical problems. There is a higher incidence of bone and heart diseases after 50 linked to menopause and lubrication is reduced, so women find it challenging to enjoy sex. I think women should be able to decide when to have menopause.

It seems possible because we are born with millions of eggs which undergo degeneration. Perhaps they can prevent that degeneration to achieve this goal.

That's an interesting idea. Humans are living longer now than they've ever lived before, so the human reproductive cycles weren't designed with our modern longevity in mind.

I've only thought about this for a few minutes, so I'll not married to any particular idea at this point, but my gut instinct is to find ways to improve menopausal women's sexual function without messing with hormone balances. Once you start messing with women's hormone levels, some wacky stuff starts happening. We see it happen all the time with birth control pills.

It sounds fine in theory but the reality is a 70 year old woman should not give birth and most definitely would have an extremely low chance of surviving it. Men over 70 should also probably not be fathering children they’re responsible for.

Well should consider the risk of having a baby when you're over 50 ... at say 65 your body might not be strong enough to carry and nurture a baby inside you for 9 months
