Do you find it hard to believe science has worked out a way to get women past the age of menopause pregnant?

People shouldn’t believe everything they read online but I read online women who have completed menopause can get pregnant by IVF

Completed menopause means they age in their 50s, 60s or 70s

Menopause is marked by the end of the last ovarian cycle after which there are no more eggs left for a woman's ovaries to release.
IVF can bypass that process entirely (either by donor eggs or previously preserved ones), so it shouldn't be a surprise that it can work.

The issue with post-menopausal women getting pregnant is quite simple, there just aren't any eggs to fertilize.
As long as the overall health and hormone levels are adequate, pregnancy can still go through.

No lol, it's IVF. All they do is fertilize an egg and then put it in her.

I have read where women past menopause have been surrogate mothers for family members that couldn’t conceive or carry a fetus to term.
Lots of hormones and who knows what else to prepare the woman their bodies to do this.

I don't believe that for a minute, but if it's actually true then it isn't something that should be encouraged, because by the time their child grows up and leaves school they'll already be in their 80 or 90's.
