It depends how stupid the uniform looks.

I once worked somewhere that had the uniform like the image above. Borderline a Sheriff. With that cowboy hat.
And they’d force you to wear that !

You’d take off the ridiculous hat and you’d lose your job.

Making $12 mf dollars an hour. 40hrs a week.

I stayed at that job tho cause my manager who also wore the hat 🤠 was hot as absolute hell tho

It makes no difference to me. It might even be better, cause you don't even have to worry about what you'll wear to work.

Never like them. Our principal was AWESOME when it came to teachers dress code: "Comfortable teachers are effective teachers". He DGAF and even said clothes don't earn you respect, rapport, kindness and instructional delivery do.

It goes with the job. For others it’s really down to the organisation they work for and things like role, position etc.

Wearing company uniforms can be pretty convenient and stress-free. It eliminates the morning dilemma of choosing what to wear, and you can save time and money on workwear. On the flip side, I do miss the personal expression that comes with picking out my own outfits. But considering the practical benefits, I think uniforms make life easier for everyone. How about you? It depends on the job. Workers that often interact with the public should wear uniforms, since it clearly identifies them and the company they work for. Workers inside an office, with no public interaction, should be allowed to wear what they want, subject to a reasonable dress code.
