I've just eaten a stack of crempogau or "petites crêpes galloises" as the French call them. They're a type of buttermilk pancake closer to what you'd get in America rather than the thin English or French ones, and served much the same way.

Traditionally, they are served smoothered in butter before you pour on your favourite topping, unlike English pancakes where it just goes straight on top butterless.

This got me wondering, do Americans butter their pancakes? I did a bit of googling and found pictures with and without, while our own version is nearly always pictured dripping with butter.

I have a friend who's turning 20 soon. She lives with her dad as their parents have divorced recently recently and he started seeing a woman his daughter age who is 19 or 20. Her dad is 47 and she saw her at their house and told her dad off for having sex buddies her own age and yelled at them. Her dad kicked her out of the house and she lives with her mom now.

I personally think it's none of her business but I didn't tell her that.

A woman in Llanfairfechan, Wales renovating her home has discovered a creepy effigy behind an antique radiator. The doll complete with pins, a screw and a threaded needle, was wrapped in a plaster that bore the name of a woman, Estelle. Presumably the one the magic was aimed at. (Pictured)

In the UK the countryside is criss-crossed with a network of public footpaths. Some may be a "proper" path but most are just trampled down grass or trails created by footfall. They cut across both public and private land and some even go through peoples gardens or farm yards. If you're dumb enough to build on one people are legally entitled to walk through your house.

To be clear, I'm talking about proper footpaths like in the photos not the type you get in public parks or normal sidewalks/pavements.

While everyone knows that that blood happens near day 1, and rut happens near day 14, there is a significant overlooked hormonal difference in between these seasons. I realize how ineffective it is to survey a population that may not have periods in the first place, or experience them very different, for this reason I'll offer voting options for those who're hormoneless or just resilient to monthly fluctuations.

Do you have a regular routine when it comes to your hobbies/activities? Or do you for example stop for a period of time, replace that hobby with another one and then you come back to it after a long time? Or stop them altogether and then pick them up at another random moment?

In both cases you are alone with a predator?

And you have no gun

Assuming both parties are in a serious relationship or marriage and want to form a family, who would get hurt the most if they're infertile?

- A woman that's still within her good fertile years or even young, finding out she'll never get pregnant, will never give birth to her own child.

- A man finding out he'll never be able to father his own children, will never be able to get his girlfriend/wife nor any woman pregnant ever.

Which would get hurt and/or affected the most?

If so do you say it when anyone sneezes or just people you know?

I tend to say it in my head if it's someone I don't know, I guess it just became a bit of a habit.

Meaning a laugh that you have when you don’t find something genuinely funny, but rather laugh because social norma dictate laughter is the appropriate response to whatever was said?

I'm guessing most of you lot are too lazy and we'll have to give the jobs to immigrants instead.

I am frustrated with my best friend that won't do me a solid...

I am in the midst of getting my claims adjuster license. I just finished my course and passed my practice exam; I am now able to take my final exam. However, my exam has to be done 1 of 2 ways: proctored or I have to have a "witness" someone to be present during my exam that is not a relative, employee, or coworker and fill out an affidavit.

I could do the proctored exam, but my camera quality on my laptop is sh\*t and they need a very clear, decent camera quality because they use facial recognition software for the exam and also, they need to see my DL, (driver's license) and be able to read information off of it.

I've asked my best friend to be a witness for my exam or to let me borrow her laptop to take it while being proctored so she wouldn't have to be present. I even offered the convenience of coming to her home so she wouldn't have to worry about leaving her home or getting her laptop back.

I've asked her twice over text if she would allow me to use her laptop or be a witness for me, and she ignored me both times. No response whatsoever. She just changed the topic of conversation. I don't get to see her a lot because we have very different work schedules, so I haven't been able to ask in person. She knows I am unhappy with my current employment which is why I've decided to take a different career path.

I am p\*ssed off and frustrated. I feel like I'm not asking for much so I don't get why she cannot do me this favor and I have also asked in a very convenient manner I feel like. I feel like she's not being a good friend, mostly by not even giving me any sort of response and saying no. Am I in the wrong for being upset?
