So i recently celebrated my birthday evening with my family which I am really close with. I love birthdays and celebrating birthdays. I had a whole evening planned to play some games but after dinner, cake and gifts everyone decided to watch a sports game. So I was left with a couple people with a bunch of games to play.

People in my family have been doing that all my life!! Luckily, a handful of us will stay away from the tube and play cards for a few hours before everyone decides to leave.
I had one uncle who lived and breathed sports and did NOTHING with his life other than to just sit around and watch sports ALL FUCKING DAY LONG, EVERY FUCKING DAY!! So, when he'd come to our house in the early evening, from the time he got there `til he and my aunt left at 1 or 2 a. m., he took over the t. v. and sat there all fucking night watching sports and anyone else that was interested would join him.
As far as I'm concerned, the ONLY good thing about football is the cheerleaders!!

Very inconsiderate of them to do that, after all of the planning and preparation you made. They obviously knew you went to a lot of trouble for your birthday, and there is no excuse for them doing that.
