I just started working at my new job. I only worked three days so far. I have this coworker that is a few years younger than me that likes me. I get the vibe he may be into me.
I get immature little kid vibes from the guy even though he's an adult but he acts like a kid. I try to be strictly professional and I try to only focus on work and getting work done.
Well I was passing by him and I told him "Excuse me" and he turned around and poked me in my arm and he made this loud jokingly sound like "BOOP" and I slightly turned over my shoulder with a straight face I didn't really react but I didn't really appreciate being touched.
I don't want him making a habit out of it because it'll make me uncomfortable.
I ended up telling my mom about it and she said he's testing me to see how much I'll let him get away with. I don't know if my mom is just overreacting, I barely started working there that would be absurd if he is already testing the waters and being disrespectful on purpose. But wanted to know your thoughts about everything.
