I met up with a guy for some tea and we were getting to know eachother a bit… I post pics that are sexy/revealing but not too much. I mentioned that my dad used to be a minister…. I don’t know how it came about but he asked “does your father know you post those type of pics?”….. he didn’t say it jokingly… but if he saw my pics and now he said he’s not ready for a relationship… why did he even have to bring that up…?

That's the stage where it's about an intensive attraction and feeling you're on cloud 9. Then after that fades, if the relationship is meant to continue then it becomes mature love.

However, can a relationship skip that stage (Infatuation aka falling in love...''You're so perfect and I want you forever and ever'') and work out without it, straight towards a matured type of love instead?

I have a friend. I met her when I was 14 and she was 42 (horse people, so not super abnormal) She was my only friend for years due to my abusive parents isolating me. Is she a narcissist or am I crazy?

• Calls you a narcissist when you don’t put them and their stories 1st
• Says you start drama and stir the pot when you hardly speak to anyone
• Constantly “plays both sides” if you are dealing with another person overstepping boundaries and gossips about you
• Constantly talked about her success then tragedy that took it away, but when you look back, timelines don’t add up and people she mentioned she was close to have no idea who she is.

• Builds you up then immediately pounces and destroys the confidence you gained

What do you think? They have been at it for 11 seasons and found no gold or much of anything else except rocks. Is the booty already gone? Who would go through all that trouble but never come back for what they hid? Like what elves constructed the flood tunnels? No human could dig it and line it with rocks 120 feet underground and not get panic attacks from claustrophobia. They've dug enough holes for one hundred 18-hole golf courses. Is there really treasure there or has it already been claimed?

When we were making out he kept complimenting my body. I said he only said it because he wants to get in my pants. He then said of course, since it’s more pragmati than telling someone they should go to the gym. I then asked him if he thought I should go to the gym he was silent and then said he liked my body as it is and that thinks he himself should lose some weight and that he thinks it’s good to motivate each other to stay fit. Does he think I should lose a few pounds?

Do you think he is gay?

My boyfriend of 3 years clearly said ''I did cheated. Just once though. think it was 8 months ago or so... just once, once''. He was hammered at that moment.

Now he's denying it ever happened and that he says whatever BS when drunk. Is likely he cheated right? I'm thinking of leaving already. Should I treat this a truthful confession?

My boyfriend and I only see each other on weekends because we live an hour apart and work through the week. We haven't been dating long, only three months, but I've noticed that he is quick to run me out of his house for other events he has going on. I get that he doesn't want to involve me with his family or introduce me yet, so I respect that when this is the case, but it also means I drive over to his place an hour, spend the night, and get kicked out in the am with hardly any time spent at all.

We have plans for me to go over this weekend, but once again, he has a family event, and I'm feeling insulted and cheated of my time and effort at the thought of going over for a short spurt of time only to be quickly asked to leave. I feel like he's penciling me into the very corners of his schedule, like I'm not a priority in the least. Not that I expect to be anywhere near his family in that sense, mind.

I'm considering asking for a rain check, but I began to wonder:

Is it better to be easily available and at his beck and call as I have been, putting in the 2 hour round-trip drive and then putting up with being asked to leave super early the morning after even after I gave the man a full-body massage the night before (ik, stupid detail, but effort is effort)? Or should I ask for this rain check and put some boundaries down because I feel that if we're going to see each other, he should put more effort into making quality time for me?

And should he be prioritizing me more at this point, or am I making a mountain out of a molehill?

Hey, so my dad had an accident in last November and was not able to function on his own. So for the past few months it's just been me and my mom taking care of my dad and his business for which I had to leave my job. Now he's doing better and can move on his own using a walker.
I'm really confused if I should continue my job or invest my time into the business. The business is doing good but I'm honestly missing the salary account being credited.

i met this guy on yikyak and although we never shared pictures or exchanged social media or talked on call, we described to each other how we look. i lied about my appearance (i’m overweight and not conventionally attractive so i was insecure). i’m (18F) talking to a guy (21M). we started off with just sexting. we caught feelings for each other and are still talking (since January 2024). the thing is that initially in the beginning i didn’t give him my real name or which city i live in. slowly over time, these lies built up. i didn’t think we would even talk for more than a week but we still are. he knows my age, where and what i study, but i lied to him about my name, where i live, my ethnicity/nationality (i’m a woc), what my parents do, sibling, what i look like, and some of my outfits. i also told him i have an ex of 6 years who cheated on me (i was embarrassed i didn’t have any ex when he has 2-3). over time as we caught feelings for each other, he told me he would like to meet me (he’d fly to where i study), ask me out, date me for a couple of years and finally marry me and have a family with me. i think despite these lies we have a real connection- we talk about our dreams and ambitions, our feelings, our favorite music and movies, we talk about books, about our families, our problems, our achievements and pretty much everything. i’m the only person besides his mom who he has told about what he wants to do in the future. we talk most of the day and sleep together on spotify jam. i made him a playlist and he made me one. this weekend he asked me to make a playlist for us to sleep to. a week ago, i told him i loved him and he told me he loved me. i genuinely love this guy a lot and want to have a real relationship with him. should i tell him the truth? if so, how will he react? or should i just tell him i can’t meet because my parents don’t approve and let him go forever?

Just a random question that popped into my mind like all the rest of garbage I ask 🔮.
